Member of the medical team of Ligue Belge Francophone d'Athlétisme, I am currently pursuing my doctoral thesis part-time at UCLouvain, focusing on manual therapy in the context of lateral ankle sprains.

Graduated from HELB in 2014, I am specialized in sports physiotherapy and manual therapy I am also certified from the runner's clinic. I take care of sports and musculoskeletal pathologies in general. I take care of consultations at the Total Physio office based at 57 Rue de Baron de Castro, Etterbeek 1040. I am open on Mondays from 2pm to 8:30pm, Tuesdays from 12:30pm to 2pm, Wednesdays from 2pm to 8:30pm, Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm and also on Fridays from 12:30pm to 2pm.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance. I am also trained in lymphatic and manual drainage, and am currently training in sports physiotherapy. With a master's degree in physical therapy and rehabilitation in 2012 at UCLouvain, I also trained in sports physical therapy, manual therapy and ortho-kinesis. I can help you to get rid of a crookedness problem or to perform electrotherapy, tecartherapy or lymphatic drainage. I also provide shockwave and ultrasound treatments. Emilie Parent is a graduate of Parnasse-ISEI. She obtained a master's degree in physical therapy in 2020. She mainly treats orthopedic injuries (fractures, sports injuries, low back pain, ...) but is also qualified for neurological physiotherapy (post-stroke, tetra/para-plegia, Parkinson's, ...), cardiovascular physiotherapy as well as for all types of exercise training. She also practices Dry Needling to treat trigger points. She is also interested in peri-natal support.
