Diplômé d'un master en kinésithérapie au Parnasse-ISEI, je pratique la kinésithérapie générale et sportive. Passionné par le domaine du sport, je me suis naturellement orienté vers les prises en charge liées au système musculo-squelettique (ortho-trauma-sport). Je reçois également pour des prises en charge générale.

Je suis actuellement en cours de formation longue en kinésithérapie du sport.

Graduated with a master in physiotherapy from the Leonardo da Vinci / Parnasse-Isei high school, the physiotherapist Melanie Van Wassenhove practices at the Take'in Care paramedical center (brusselsesteenweg 159, 3080 Tervuren) and also does home visits on request of her patients. Her qualities and skills allow her to take care of sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, back pain, joint pain, neurological and respiratory pathologies in children. Diplômé d'un Master en Kinésithérapeute au sein de la Faculté des Sciences de la Motricité à l'ULB, je me spécialise dans la prise en charge des pathologies musculo-squelettiques, avec une expertise particulière en orthopédie, traumatologie et kinésithérapie sportive.

Mon objectif est de vous accompagner dans votre rééducation en m'adaptant à vos besoins spécifiques et à vos objectifs personnels, que ce soit pour retrouver une mobilité optimale, reprendre une activité sportive ou pour améliorer votre qualité de vie au quotidien. 

Depuis deux ans, j’assure le suivi de joueurs et joueuses au club de rugby à XV du Boitsfort Rugby Club. Cette expérience m’a permis de développer une approche centrée sur la prévention des blessures et sur la performance athlétique. 

Mes traitements reposent sur le mouvement et la compréhension des symptômes afin de vous rendre acteur de votre rééducation. Ensemble, nous travaillerons pour vous permettre d’acquérir les outils nécessaires à votre autonomie et à un rétablissement durable. Vous serez toujours écouté et impliqué dans votre parcours de soin. 

Passionate about sports, I hold a Master's degree in Kinesitherapy and am able to take care of all your musculoskeletal disorders (tendinopathies, fractures, muscle injuries, sprains, ...), neurological, respiratory or other, as well as to accompany you during a post-operative rehabilitation. I am also trained in lymphatic and manual drainage, and am currently training in sports physiotherapy. My consultations take place on Monday mornings, Tuesday mornings, Thursday mornings and Friday mornings at the City Clinic, Avenue Louise, and I will be happy to welcome you.

Diplômé de la Haute École Provinciale de Hainaut Condorcet (HEPH) en 2024, j'ai déjà acquis une solide expérience grâce à des stages et collaborations enrichissantes. Passionné par le sport, je me spécialise dans les prises en charge sportives, que ce soit pour les athlètes ou pour toute personne cherchant à soigner ses blessures.

Je suis également compétent pour traiter une large gamme de pathologies, afin de vous offrir des soins adaptés à vos besoins spécifiques. À travers mon approche personnalisée et professionnelle, je m'engage à vous accompagner sur le chemin de la santé et du bien-être.

David Léonard is a physiotherapist, specialized in sports physiotherapy. He receives you at his private practice (Sombreffe) and travels to your home. He attaches great importance to training (sports physiotherapy, Trigger Points, and currently in muscle chains and orthopedic manual therapy) and has accumulated experience in the follow-up of sportsmen and women, whether in the office or in clubs (soccer, rugby). Assessing my patients and working in a personalized and individual manner is essential for me in order to gain their trust and establish a therapeutic alliance. General physiotherapist, I treat orthopedic/trauma pathologies (sprains, fractures, tendinopathy, lower back pain, shoulder pain, acute or chronic pain, etc.), respiratory pathologies, neurological pathologies, rheumatological pathologies, etc. I have also had the opportunity to train in physiotherapy and breast cancer in order to help people suffering from this disease to gently rebuild their lives.
