Je suis kinésithérapeute spécialisé en kiné musculo-squelettique.

Je suiis diplômé de l’HELB Ilya-Prigogine.

Je suis également en cours de spécialisation en thérapie manuelle orthopédique à l’UCLouvain.

Chaque corps est différent, chaque histoire est unique, et tous deux évoluent tout au long de notre vie. Parfois, certaines laissent des cicatrices, qui ne demandent qu’à être apaisées.

Le corps humain est un temple à la fois aussi complexe que fascinant, il est essentiel de lui accorder le respect et la bienveillance dont il a besoin.

C’est pourquoi je m’engage, dans ma pratique, à vous offrir des soins de qualité, tout en restant attentive à vos objectifs. Ensemble, main dans la main, nous construirons une prise en charge adaptée à vos besoins.

Je reçois les adultes et les personnes âgées pour la prise en charge de pathologies courantes telles que les douleurs du dos et des articulations, les troubles musculosquelettiques, l’arthrose, les suites de traumatismes ou de chirurgie, ainsi que pour la rééducation fonctionnelle et l’amélioration de la mobilité et de l’équilibre.

Plus récemment, je me suis formée à la prise en charge de la sphère tête et cou afin d’approfondir mes connaissances dans ce domaine, en cohérence avec ma vision du corps humain et les données scientifiques actuelles.

Diplômée d’un Master en kinésithérapie, je vous accompagne avec une approche personnalisée, bienveillante et à l’écoute. Mon objectif est de vous aider à retrouver votre mobilité, autonomie et qualité de vie en soulageant vos douleurs et en optimisant vos capacités fonctionnelles.

Mon approche combine techniques manuelles et exercices adaptés, afin de favoriser une récupération optimale. 

Je pratique de la kinésithérapie générale et je prends en charge les différents troubles musculo-squelettiques : lombalgie, tendinopathie, entorse, fracture, douleurs chroniques, troubles de la marche ainsi que la rééducation pré/post-opératoire.

Diplômée en drainage lymphatique manuel (méthode Leduc), j’interviens aussi dans la prise en charge des œdèmes et jambes lourdes.

Je vous recevrai avec plaisir au centre The Lab les lundis, mercredis et jeudis.

Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome. For the past 10 years, he has also been a member of the teaching staff at the ULB as an assistant in charge of exercises at the Institute of Motor Sciences, and at the HELB as a training supervisor. He also practiced at the osteoarticular center of the Antoine Depage Clinic where he gained the trust of several patients. Diplômé de l'UCLouvain, j'ai continué à me former dans le domaine du sport en réalisant le Certificat Inter-Universitaire en kinésithérapie sportive à l'UCL . Passionné par la kinésithérapie sportive, je suis différentes équipes de rugby depuis plus de 5 ans, que ce soit au niveau national ou international.

Je vous accompagne durant toute la durée de votre pathologie, quelle soit du cadre sportif ou non, en mettant un accent sur l'aspect fonctionnel de votre rééducation afin de vous rendre votre autonomie au plus vite.

Graduated in physiotherapy from ULB in 2021. I practice general physiotherapy including orthopedic (muscle, joint) and trauma (accident and operation) physiotherapy. My physiotherapy sessions are motivated by the desire to allow my patients to regain their autonomy and optimal physical capacity.
