I have a master's degree in physical therapy from the HEPH in Condorcet and have followed a training in respiratory physiotherapy. I practice general, orthopedic, traumatological and respiratory physiotherapy. I can welcome you at my office located in Bierges at the provincial street 215 or in Chaumont-Gistoux at the Chaussée de Huy 252 or come to your home. I work in 2 areas: - orthopedic physiotherapy, which includes treatment of sports injuries (sprains, tendinopathies, dislocations, tears, contractures,...), operations (prostheses, ligaments, fractures treated by osteosynthesis, herniated discs...) but also pain related to bad postures. - Perineological physiotherapy. This one includes pre and post-natal care but also urinary problems (stress incontinence (coughing, sneezing, carrying a load, trampoline...), difficulties to urinate, emergencies (with or without leakage), perineal pain (during intercourse or not), fecal incontinence or constipation, enuresis (bedwetting), postoperative care (man and woman)...

Le coeur de ma pratique est de prendre le temps d’écouter, de comprendre et d’accompagner. Formé en ostéopathie à l’Université libre de Bruxelles, j’ai choisi ce métier par passion pour le corps humain et par envie d’aider chacun à retrouver équilibre et un bien-être quotidien.

Mon approche repose sur une alliance entre mon expertise scientifique et écoute attentive de vos besoins. Chaque personne est unique, et chaque séance l’est tout autant.

Si nécessaire, je travaille en collaboration avec d’autres professionnels de santé (médecin, kinésithérapeute, podologue, psychologue…) afin d’assurer un suivi de prise en charge complète et cohérente.

Kathleen Gillain est ostéopathe D.O. depuis 2024. Elle a d'abord suivi une formation en kinésithérapie à l'école Parnasse ISEI, de 2015 à 2019, avant de se spécialiser en ostéopathie à la Belgian School of Osteopathy, où elle a étudié de 2019 à 2024. Pendant son parcours, Kathleen a rédigé un mémoire en kinésithérapie portant sur les étirements de l'épaule chez les sportifs, et un autre en ostéopathie, axé sur le traitement du nerf vague et son influence sur la fréquence cardiaque. Elle exerce actuellement au cabinet Drugmand, au centre Body Therapy à Sombreffe, ainsi qu’à Mellery. Par ailleurs, Kathleen occupe également le rôle d’assistante à la Belgian School of Osteopathy.

Diplômé d'un master en kinésithérapie au Parnasse-ISEI, je pratique la kinésithérapie générale et sportive. Passionné par le domaine du sport, je me suis naturellement orienté vers les prises en charge liées au système musculo-squelettique (ortho-trauma-sport). Je reçois également pour des prises en charge générale.

Je suis actuellement en cours de formation longue en kinésithérapie du sport.

Kinésithérapeute licenciée depuis presque 20 ans, je reviens en Belgique après plus de 15 ans au Canada. 

Forte d’un bagage mixte de formations et d’expériences, j’ai toujours eu à coeur le bien-être de mes patients. 

Spécialisée en thérapie manuelle et en pathologies sportives, j’ai essentiellement évolué dans le milieu de la prise en charge des problématiques neuro-musculo-squelletiques en clinique sportive. 

Outre la thérapie manuelle, j’inclus au besoin dans ma pratique des techniques comme le crochetage (fibrolyse diacutanée), le dry needling ou le Mulligan.

Je suis diplômée en kinésithérapie depuis 2023 à la Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci. Actuellement, je travaille aux Cliniques Universitaires de Saint-Luc, dans le service de cardiologie, chirurgie cardio-thoracique et de réadaptation cardiaque mais également en cabinet sur Waterloo. J'ai également suivi une formation en maxillo-facial.

Passionnée par le bien-être et la santé de mes patients, mon approche est centrée sur l’écoute et l’empathie. Je prends le temps de comprendre les besoins spécifiques de chaque patient afin de proposer des soins personnalisés, adaptés à chaque situation. Mon objectif est de vous aider à retrouver votre mobilité, à soulager vos douleurs et à améliorer votre qualité de vie au quotidien.

Having obtained a master's degree in physical education at the Free University of Brussels, I naturally moved towards physiotherapy and rehabilitation, a discipline in which I graduated in 2022. While working, I undertook a specialization master's degree in sports physiotherapy in order to combine the two professions. This concluded positively in 2023. The different skills acquired allow me, if necessary, to offer my patients a specific rehabilitation program. Dynamic and attentive, I also take care of different types of pathology: orthopedics, traumatology, cardio-respiratory revalidation, geriatrics, neurology, etc.
