Kinésithérapeute conventionnée avec 11 ans d'expérience spécialisée en thérapie manuelle, activité physique adaptée et thérapie par l'exercice. Prise en charge kiné neuro-musculo-squelettique, ortho-traumatologie, respiratoire (adulte/enfant), oro-maxillo-fasciale (ATM,HMTC,VPPB), revalidation et rééducation (respiratoire, à la marche, cardiaque,...). Diplômé d'un Master en Kinésithérapeute au sein de la Faculté des Sciences de la Motricité à l'ULB, je me spécialise dans la prise en charge des pathologies musculo-squelettiques, avec une expertise particulière en orthopédie, traumatologie et kinésithérapie sportive.

Mon objectif est de vous accompagner dans votre rééducation en m'adaptant à vos besoins spécifiques et à vos objectifs personnels, que ce soit pour retrouver une mobilité optimale, reprendre une activité sportive ou pour améliorer votre qualité de vie au quotidien. 

Depuis deux ans, j’assure le suivi de joueurs et joueuses au club de rugby à XV du Boitsfort Rugby Club. Cette expérience m’a permis de développer une approche centrée sur la prévention des blessures et sur la performance athlétique. 

Mes traitements reposent sur le mouvement et la compréhension des symptômes afin de vous rendre acteur de votre rééducation. Ensemble, nous travaillerons pour vous permettre d’acquérir les outils nécessaires à votre autonomie et à un rétablissement durable. Vous serez toujours écouté et impliqué dans votre parcours de soin. 

Osteopath, I graduated in osteopathy in 2008, but also graduated in energetic osteopathy in 2019 from ULC and IAO respectively. Specialized in general and energetic osteopathy, he takes care of neck pain, jaw problems, joint disorders, emergencies, lumbago and also rib pain. You can consult him for a migraine, for a back problem, for a sports injury, for stress management, for a gynecological or pediatric condition. He practices at the Gembloux Fabian Laval osteopathy office at Chaussée de Namur 98, 5030 located in Gembloux.

Osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles with great distinction (6 years full time). This training has provided me with a medical background that allows me to guarantee a complete and secure treatment of the patient. My practice includes a wide range of techniques (articular, muscular, tissue, visceral...), which allows me to apply personalized care, while keeping a global approach of your body. My treatments are aimed at various problems of the musculoskeletal system, such as: lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, muscular tension, restrictions of joint mobility, jaw disorders (TMJ)... Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome.
