Diplômé en kinésithérapie de l’ULB, j’exerce depuis plus de 10 ans en tant que kinésithérapeute. Mon parcours professionnel m'a permis de développer des compétences solides dans la rééducation fonctionnelle et la prise en charge de patients souffrant de diverses pathologies.

Cette dernière consiste à travailler les articulations et les tissus afin de libérer des limitations d'amplitudes. Cela permettra de réaliser des mouvements plus souples et sans douleur.

Je porte également un intérêt accru à l'articulation de l'épaule. Douleurs aiguës, chroniques ou post-opératoire.

L'objectif sera de trouver la technique permettant de diminuer les douleurs et d'augmenter la capacité physique grâce à une prise en charge individualisée.

Graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy at ISEK in 2018, I specialize in sports physiotherapy, ortho-traumatology, hand/wrist. The treatments offered are mainly active, attentive to patients and personalized according to your needs. I am a licensed physiotherapist (this means that the price of the session is higher than the price of the INAMI and therefore the reimbursement will be lower). For VIPO/BIM people, the rates and reimbursements will be those of INAMI.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance. Thanks to my experience as a dancer combined with my clinical practice, I will make every effort to offer treatments adapted to each patient according to their needs and desires, based on the best scientific evidence available. Graduated with distinction from HELB in physiotherapy, I have been passionate about this profession since I was very young. My academic career has been enriched by numerous internships in various healthcare environments, notably in nursing homes, hospitals and in physiotherapy practices. I like human contact, whether with children, adults or the elderly. I quickly discovered my passion for end-of-life support and pediatrics and I aspire to specialize in these areas to bring a more rigorous approach and greater comfort to my practice. My approach as a physiotherapist is characterized by my deep empathy, my positive dynamic, my ability to reassure patients and my rigor in my care. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the well-being and health of my patients while creating a warm and safe environment for their rehabilitation. Passionate about sports, I hold a Master's degree in Kinesitherapy and am able to take care of all your musculoskeletal disorders (tendinopathies, fractures, muscle injuries, sprains, ...), neurological, respiratory or other, as well as to accompany you during a post-operative rehabilitation. I am also trained in lymphatic and manual drainage, and am currently training in sports physiotherapy. My consultations take place on Monday mornings, Tuesday mornings, Thursday mornings and Friday mornings at the City Clinic, Avenue Louise, and I will be happy to welcome you.

Emilie Parent is a graduate of Parnasse-ISEI. She obtained a master's degree in physical therapy in 2020. She mainly treats orthopedic injuries (fractures, sports injuries, low back pain, ...) but is also qualified for neurological physiotherapy (post-stroke, tetra/para-plegia, Parkinson's, ...), cardiovascular physiotherapy as well as for all types of exercise training. She also practices Dry Needling to treat trigger points. She is also interested in peri-natal support.
