J'interviens dans la prise en charge des pathologies musculo-squelettiques, orthopédiques et traumatologiques, qu'il s'agisse de douleurs lombaires et cervicales, d'entorses, de pathologies de l'épaule et du genou, de rééducation post-opératoire ou encore de troubles touchant le poignet et la main.

Mon expérience me permet également d'accompagner les patients atteints de pathologies rhumatismales telles que la spondylarthrite ankylosante, la polyarthrite rhumatoïde ou la fibromyalgie, ainsi que ceux souffrant d'affections neurologiques, notamment la sclérose en plaques, la maladie de Parkinson, les suites d'AVC, la myasthénie, la maladie de Huntington ou encore les polyneuropathies. Je prends également en charge les troubles respiratoires, aussi bien chez l'adulte que chez l'enfant.

En complément de ces domaines, je me suis formée et spécialisée dans le traitement des lymphœdèmes ainsi que dans la prise en charge des cervicalgies et des troubles de l'articulation temporo-mandibulaire (ATM). Ma formation en kinésithérapie HMTC me permet d'intervenir sur des problématiques telles que les migraines, céphalées, vertiges, acouphènes, algies de la face et perturbations maxillo-faciales.

Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. He can provide you with care in abdominal reeducation, help you to free yourself from your back pain, your lumbago, the problem of hooking or free yourself from your joint pain. She is particularly interested in shoulder pain, low back pain and neck pain as well as issues related to chronic pain. Trained and certified in STOTT Pilates, she incorporates it into her treatments in order to help patients strengthen their muscles and develop their proprioception. Her goal is to bring people to know their body better and to use it without fear. She regularly trains and questions herself in order to provide her patients with treatments that are validated by the scientific community while being oriented by her own qualities as well as by the individuality of each patient. She transmits her knowledge to the patient and guides him/her in order to make him/her autonomous in his/her treatment and to keep the acquired knowledge beyond the consultation period.
