Curious to understand the functioning of the human body and passionate about manual medicine, I completed a 6-year course at the Université Libre de Bruxelles before obtaining my osteopathic diploma. Today, I consult in several multidisciplinary practices in Brussels where I ensure a precise, gentle and patient-friendly treatment. As an osteopath, and in a general way, I am interested in musculo-articular pains as well as in their relief by the hand and by the movement. I am particularly interested in the treatment of pregnant women, the jaw joint and its relationship with the cervical spine, and acute situations such as torticollis or lumbago.

Osteopath D.O. graduated from the ULB (first university teaching of Osteopathy in Belgium), Romain Derue has a very broad field of intervention. He mainly treats musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprains, tendinitis) but also digestive, jaw and stress problems. His practice in the office is reassuring and can be adapted to everyone, whatever their profile, age or activity. Romain Derue can therefore treat athletes, pregnant women, adults and children.

Tout a commencé sur un terrain de football. Joueur à bon niveau, ma carrière s'est arrêtée net à cause de douleurs de croissance, trois ans loin des terrains. C'est la prise en charge d'un ostéopathe qui m'a redonné mon corps et changé ma trajectoire. Ce jour-là, j'ai su que je ferais ce métier. Diplômé en ostéopathie avec distinction de l'Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), j'accompagne aujourd'hui chaque patient avec cette même attention: comprendre avant d'agir, et surtout écouter, car chaque douleur raconte une histoire. Que vous soyez sportif en quête de performance ou de récupération, actif souffrant de tensions du quotidien, femme enceinte ou sénior, je ne traite pas seulement un symptôme, mais un individu dans sa globalité. Attiré par le contact humain et le sport en général, j’ai débuté comme kinésithérapeute en 1999. Je me suis ensuite spécialisé en kiné du sport. Très vite confronté aux douleurs aiguës et aux pertes de mobilités, je me suis orienté vers l’ostéopathie. J’ai terminé mon cursus en 2010 pour lancer mon cabinet de Haut-Ittre. C’est avec l’envie de participer à la réussite du sportif en lui permettant d’approcher ses capacités maximales et en lui apprenant à écouter son corps que je rejoins également l’équipe Health & Sports Care du centre Mounier à Woluwé. L’ostéopathie s’adresse à toutes et à tous: femmes enceintes, sportifs de haut niveau, amateurs ou sédentaires. He is now part of the multidisciplinary team of BACK in Bruxelles center, as well as in Laeken too. Thanks to a meticulous approach, these osteopathic sessions are focused on the various complaints of the patient. Pier-Luigi Cianci is specialized in the treatment of adults, teenagers and athletes of all levels. He did his final study on the management and biomechanics of low back pain.
