Alicia Absil is an osteopath with several experiences. Curious to understand the functioning of the human body and passionate about manual medicine, I completed a 6-year course at the Université Libre de Bruxelles before obtaining my osteopathic diploma. Today, I consult in several multidisciplinary practices in Brussels where I ensure a precise, gentle and patient-friendly treatment. As an osteopath, and in a general way, I am interested in musculo-articular pains as well as in their relief by the hand and by the movement. I am particularly interested in the treatment of pregnant women, the jaw joint and its relationship with the cervical spine, and acute situations such as torticollis or lumbago.

Riche de toutes ces années d'expériences et de formation continues , je vous reçois avec plaisir afin de vous aider à résoudre vos différents problèmes. Je peux traiter tous les troubles au niveaux du rachis qu'il soit cervicale/thoracique/lombaire avec les pathologies associées ainsi que les différentes pathologies du sportif ( épaule/coude/poignet/hanche/genou/cheville). The university training that I followed allows me to have a clinical and practical background adequate to the needs and the accompaniment of my patients. My practice is composed of muscular, articular, visceral and tissue techniques and is aimed at adults as well as pregnant women and children. I also trained in pediatrics during my last year of university following an internship at the maternity hospital in Ixelles. There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected.
