Graduated with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree specializing in osteopathy at the ULB, I will see you for diagnosis and treatment manual for your pain. My training includes both a solid scientific theoretical base, as well as varied techniques, ranging from joint manipulations to so-called “gentle” techniques. I take the time to listen to you in order to understand the complexity of your clinical history and I respect your requests (phobia of manipulation, modesty, etc.).

I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy (Maidstone, UK) with a Master in Osteopathy, after obtaining a bachelor's degree in osteopathy at the ULB (Brussels). During all these years, I have acquired a passion for the human body and his functions. My bicultural background has given me the opportunity to become familiar with a wide range of techniques: structural, myotensive, fascial, muscular, visceral, cranio-sacral... Ostéopathe diplômé après un cursus de six ans à l'Université Libre de Bruxelles, en collaboration avec la faculté de médecine, j'ai acquis une solide base de connaissances médicales ainsi que des techniques thérapeutiques avancées. Cette formation rigoureuse me permet de proposer des séances personnalisées et adaptées aux besoins spécifiques de chaque patient.

Mon approche est avant tout manuelle et se concentre sur l'amélioration de la mobilité et du confort physique, en prenant en charge les troubles musculo-squelettiques tels que les cervicalgies, les dorsalgies, les lombalgies, les dysfonctionnements de l'articulation temporo-mandibulaire et les troubles de l'appareil locomoteur de manière générale.

Mon objectif est d'offrir un accompagnement attentif et précis, en tenant compte de l'unicité de chaque personne pour lui permettre de retrouver bien-être et aisance dans ses mouvements au quotidien.

The training I received and my experience allow me to say today that my practice is as varied as the clinical situations I have encountered. Indeed, I consider that each technique must be adapted to the patient's situation and needs. I have been able to perfect my practice by completing it with a clinical medical examination and learning what to do in case of remarkable symptoms in order to conduct the sessions in complete safety.

Le coeur de ma pratique est de prendre le temps d’écouter, de comprendre et d’accompagner. Formé en ostéopathie à l’Université libre de Bruxelles, j’ai choisi ce métier par passion pour le corps humain et par envie d’aider chacun à retrouver équilibre et un bien-être quotidien.

Mon approche repose sur une alliance entre mon expertise scientifique et écoute attentive de vos besoins. Chaque personne est unique, et chaque séance l’est tout autant.

J’accorde une attention particulière aux douleurs chroniques, aux tensions persistantes et aux situations complexes, qui nécessitent souvent une approche douce, progressive et sur mesure. Ensemble, nous construisons un accompagnement adapté à vos besoins, dans un climat de confiance et de respect.

Si nécessaire, je travaille en collaboration avec d’autres professionnels de santé (médecin, kinésithérapeute, podologue, psychologue…) afin d’assurer un suivi de prise en charge complète et cohérente.

Attiré par le contact humain et le sport en général, j’ai débuté comme kinésithérapeute en 1999. Je me suis ensuite spécialisé en kiné du sport. Très vite confronté aux douleurs aiguës et aux pertes de mobilités, je me suis orienté vers l’ostéopathie. J’ai terminé mon cursus en 2010 pour lancer mon cabinet de Haut-Ittre. C’est avec l’envie de participer à la réussite du sportif en lui permettant d’approcher ses capacités maximales et en lui apprenant à écouter son corps que je rejoins également l’équipe Health & Sports Care du centre Mounier à Woluwé. L’ostéopathie s’adresse à toutes et à tous: femmes enceintes, sportifs de haut niveau, amateurs ou sédentaires. A chacun son parcours, chacun ses ambitions , « Toute personne qui essaie d’atteindre et repousser ses objectifs est un sportif à son niveau. » Mon rôle est de pouvoir vous aider à retrouver une meilleure mobilité et à améliorer vos performances par un ensemble varié et adapté de techniques manuelles. »

My outgoing, caring and passionate personality resonates with the philosophy of osteopathy which I decided to study for the human contact and the help to others through a hollistic approach to understand the origin of problems, to treat them and to avoid possible chronic injuries. Osteopathy, an alternative and traditional medicine, is a primary health care discipline and is therefore partially refunded by the mutual insurance company. I graduated in July 2022 from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in England and had the opportunity to study the human body and practice for 4 years. My training in England allowed me to learn the 3 bases of osteopathy such as the structural, the functional and the visceral and to put it into practice at the school's clinic where I was able to treat my patients for 2 years with supervision. These 1300 hours of clinical practice allowed me to acquire a wide range of techniques such as: articular, cranial, cranio-sacral, facial, myotensive, visceral, etc.. During my last year of master, I had the chance to specialise in pediatrics, perinatal and sports medicine. I had the exceptional opportunity to treat babies as young as a few weeks old, children and teenagers, pregnant women and post-partum, athletes and elderly people. Emma Rebufello, osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles after obtaining a complementary master in osteopathy. The university training that I followed allows me to have a clinical and practical background adequate to the needs and the accompaniment of my patients. My practice is composed of muscular, articular, visceral and tissue techniques and is aimed at adults as well as pregnant women and children. I also trained in pediatrics during my last year of university following an internship at the maternity hospital in Ixelles.
