My outgoing, caring and passionate personality resonates with the philosophy of osteopathy which I decided to study for the human contact and the help to others through a hollistic approach to understand the origin of problems, to treat them and to avoid possible chronic injuries. Osteopathy, an alternative and traditional medicine, is a primary health care discipline and is therefore partially refunded by the mutual insurance company. I graduated in July 2022 from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in England and had the opportunity to study the human body and practice for 4 years. My training in England allowed me to learn the 3 bases of osteopathy such as the structural, the functional and the visceral and to put it into practice at the school's clinic where I was able to treat my patients for 2 years with supervision. These 1300 hours of clinical practice allowed me to acquire a wide range of techniques such as: articular, cranial, cranio-sacral, facial, myotensive, visceral, etc.. During my last year of master, I had the chance to specialise in pediatrics, perinatal and sports medicine. I had the exceptional opportunity to treat babies as young as a few weeks old, children and teenagers, pregnant women and post-partum, athletes and elderly people. Graduated from a Master in Osteopathy (M.Ost) at the European School of Osteopathy in 2019 in England, I worked for 4 years in various practices before moving back to Belgium. I provide personalised treatments to help with multiple complains (musculoskeletal, articular, visceral, headache,...) and guide patients towards finding a better quality of life. I work in collaboration with my patients and will adapt to their individual needs and preferences. I always take into consideration the body as a whole including the emotional aspect. My appointments are open for people of all ages - children, pregnant woman, elderly, etc. Always curious to improve my practice, I regularly attend training in different specialities to keep up to date with science and to continue to increase my expertise. Impliquée dans le sport depuis un très jeune âge, j'ai toujours été passionnée par le corps humain et ses réactions face aux blessures et dérèglements dont il peut être affecté. Très vite, j'ai été attirée par la kinésithérapie pour le contact humain et cet attrait du corps. J'ai ensuite voulu m'orienter vers l'ostéopathie pour son approche plus holistique, la prise en considération du patient dans sa globalité, en être entièrement à l'écoute pour l'aider au mieux.

He is now part of the multidisciplinary team of BACK in Bruxelles center, as well as in Laeken too. Thanks to a meticulous approach, these osteopathic sessions are focused on the various complaints of the patient. Pier-Luigi Cianci is specialized in the treatment of adults, teenagers and athletes of all levels. He did his final study on the management and biomechanics of low back pain. There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. For example, a common backache may result from excessive fatigue in the foot or a malfunctioning jaw. Similarly, would you ever have imagined that overloading the intestines can induce headaches? Our body is a machine with complex gears and countless transmission belts. Being able to find the right key to interpret when the warning light of pain turns on, identifying its origin, looking at the patient in all his complexity, and being able to guarantee him lasting benefit are the greatest satisfaction that this work can give me.
