Graduated with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree specializing in osteopathy at the ULB, I will see you for diagnosis and treatment manual for your pain. My training includes both a solid scientific theoretical base, as well as varied techniques, ranging from joint manipulations to so-called “gentle” techniques. I take the time to listen to you in order to understand the complexity of your clinical history and I respect your requests (phobia of manipulation, modesty, etc.).

Je suis diététicienne agréée, spécialisée en nutrition du sportif et en diabétologie, et passionnée par l’accompagnement nutritionnel dans toute sa diversité.

J’accueille chaque personne avec une attention particulière à son histoire, ses objectifs, et ses besoins spécifiques. Que ce soit dans le cadre d’un suivi lié à une pathologie comme le diabète, d’un objectif de performance sportive, ou encore d’un moment de vie comme la grossesse, mon approche reste la même : proposer un accompagnement sur-mesure, bienveillant, et basé sur l’écoute.

Formée à l’Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) et au CPSI, je continue à me former régulièrement afin d’offrir une prise en charge toujours actualisée et en phase avec les dernières recommandations scientifiques. La nutrition est un domaine en constante évolution, et il est essentiel pour moi de rester au plus près de ces avancées pour pouvoir vous accompagner au mieux.

Au fil de mon parcours, j’ai eu l’opportunité de travailler avec des profils très variés :

• Des patients atteints de diabète (type 1, type 2, pré-diabète, etc.) ;
• Des sportifs amateurs ou de haut niveau, souhaitant optimiser leur alimentation pour améliorer leurs performances et leur récupération ;
• Des femmes enceintes ou allaitantes, en quête d’un équilibre alimentaire respectueux de leur santé et de celle de leur bébé ;
• Des personnes avec des objectifs de perte ou de prise de poids, de transition alimentaire ou de rééquilibrage global ;
• Ou encore des patients souffrant de troubles digestifs (ballonnements, diarrhée chronique, syndrome intestin irritable, maladie de Crohn, rectocolite etc.), cardiovasculaires (hypertension artérielle, hypercholestérolémie, hypertriglycéridémie, antécédents d’infarctus ou d’AVC) ou de pathologies métaboliques telles que le syndrome métabolique, la stéatose hépatique (foie gras non alcoolique), ou encore l’insulinorésistance.

Mon approche repose sur la pédagogie, la flexibilité, et le respect du rythme de chacun. Je vous aide à comprendre les mécanismes de votre corps, à adopter des habitudes alimentaires durables, et à vous sentir acteur(trice) de votre santé, sans pression ni culpabilité.

Graduated from ULB after 6 years of training (a bachelor's degree and 2 master's degrees), I welcome you for your pain and/or blockages of the musculoskeletal system; namely everything relating to muscles, joints and nerves. You are therefore welcome for any acute or chronic problem of low back pain, neck pain, jaw pain/clicking, after-effects of sprains, contractures, inter-costal neuralgia… I also offer support for the pregnancy as well as relief from abdominal pain linked to stress or organic pathologies (Crohn's, UCHR, gastrointestinal reflux). Osteopathy has also demonstrated its effectiveness in the treatment of tension headaches, which are headaches caused by lack of sleep, stress or poor posture. My personal journey made me discover osteopathy by chance. Since childhood, I have always been attracted to the medical field and the art of healing. But in a situation where conventional medicine and medications could not help me, it was thanks to osteopathy and the healing power of the hands that I was able to get better. So I wanted to study myself and learn how to “unblock” others without resorting to medication. I am also very interested in the psychological and emotional dimension of any illness, and this is among other things why I decided to take Chinese medicine courses at the same time at E.T.T.C. in Namur (I do not yet practice in this discipline). This different approach to the human body will allow me to deepen the holistic vision of the person and their illness. I pay particular attention to welcoming you with kindness and active listening, in order to allow the letting go and relaxation essential to healing. I also work Saturday and/or Sunday for emergency osteopathy appointments.

The training I received and my experience allow me to say today that my practice is as varied as the clinical situations I have encountered. I have been able to perfect my practice by completing it with a clinical medical examination and learning what to do in case of remarkable symptoms in order to conduct the sessions in complete safety.

He is now part of the multidisciplinary team of BACK in Bruxelles center, as well as in Laeken too. Thanks to a meticulous approach, these osteopathic sessions are focused on the various complaints of the patient. Pier-Luigi Cianci is specialized in the treatment of adults, teenagers and athletes of all levels. He did his final study on the management and biomechanics of low back pain.
