Holder of a D.O in osteopathy obtained with Great Distinction, Julien Bosc studied at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). During his osteopathic degree (D.O), he was an osteopath at the Saint Guidon clinic & at BUCOPA within the Erasmus Hospital. This experience allowed him to put his knowledge into practice and to better understand the realities of the professional environment. He also realized in the framework of his dissertations, a study on the effectiveness of osteopathic treatment in patients with chronic neck pain in 2018 and 2019. To update his knowledge, he took part in several conferences on: Cervical Spine, Soft Tissue and Osteopathy State of the Art. Committed to defend the rights and recognition of osteopathy, osteopaths and their patients, he became a member of the Union Professionnelle des Ostéopathes de Belgique. My outgoing, caring and passionate personality resonates with the philosophy of osteopathy which I decided to study for the human contact and the help to others through a hollistic approach to understand the origin of problems, to treat them and to avoid possible chronic injuries. Osteopathy, an alternative and traditional medicine, is a primary health care discipline and is therefore partially refunded by the mutual insurance company. I graduated in July 2022 from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in England and had the opportunity to study the human body and practice for 4 years. My training in England allowed me to learn the 3 bases of osteopathy such as the structural, the functional and the visceral and to put it into practice at the school's clinic where I was able to treat my patients for 2 years with supervision. These 1300 hours of clinical practice allowed me to acquire a wide range of techniques such as: articular, cranial, cranio-sacral, facial, myotensive, visceral, etc.. During my last year of master, I had the chance to specialise in pediatrics, perinatal and sports medicine. I had the exceptional opportunity to treat babies as young as a few weeks old, children and teenagers, pregnant women and post-partum, athletes and elderly people. Je suis spécialisée en thérapie manuelle, avec une expertise particulière dans la prise en charge des troubles de l’articulation temporo-mandibulaire (ATM), ainsi que dans le traitement des vertiges et des céphalées. I provide personalised treatments to help with multiple complains (musculoskeletal, articular, visceral, headache,...) and guide patients towards finding a better quality of life. I work in collaboration with my patients and will adapt to their individual needs and preferences. I always take into consideration the body as a whole including the emotional aspect. My appointments are open for people of all ages - children, pregnant woman, elderly, etc. Always curious to improve my practice, I regularly attend training in different specialities to keep up to date with science and to continue to increase my expertise. Mon parcours scolaire m'a permis d'enrichir mes connaissances dans plusieurs domaines tels que la pédiatrie, la gériatrie ou encore les soins intensifs. Ma curiosité et mon envie d'approfondir mes connaissances m'ont amenée à me lancer dans un deuxième master dédié à la rééducation abdomino-pelvienne et la périnatalité. Je reste cependant disponible pour vous accompagner pour tout traitement utile à votre rééducation avec comme objectif une contribution au bien-être de mes patients ainsi qu'au maintien de leur autonomie mais également pour une meilleure qualité de vie.
