As a clinical psychologist with a degree from the ULB, I offer a caring and reassuring framework to accompany any person experiencing discomfort, questions or symptoms. Although my approach is mainly analytical, I consider the treatment as an active collaboration between the psychologist and the consultant. Thus, I sometimes use concepts and tools from other approaches (systemic and ttc) in order to adapt my practice to the individuality of the person. I receive teenagers and adults individually for 45 minutes, either for a one-time meeting or for a long-term follow-up.

Graduated in psychology and educational sciences in 2009, I have worked in various sectors of clinical psychology. I first worked with children and adolescents suffering from autism, psychosis and severe neurosis, and then opened my own practice. Trained in psychoanalytical and systemic practices, I now work both as a clinical manager in a child psychiatric hospital and as a psychotherapist with a varied patient base, children, adolescents or adults, in individual, couple and/or family settings. I treat various psychological disorders (attachment disorders, addiction, depression, anxiety, burn-out, school drop-out, autism spectrum disorders, psychotic disorders, ...).

J’accompagne dans les questionnements personnels, les difficultés émotionnelles, relationnelles ou existentielles, ainsi que dans les périodes de transition ou de souffrance psychique.

Ma pratique s’inscrit dans une approche centrée sur la personne, respectueuse de son rythme, de son histoire et de ses ressources. Je considère que chaque symptôme a un sens et que le travail thérapeutique se construit avant tout dans une relation de confiance.

Je propose un espace de parole où il est possible de déposer ce qui pèse, de mettre des mots sur ce qui est confus, et d’avancer progressivement vers une meilleure compréhension de soi, un apaisement émotionnel et un mieux-être durable.

Les consultations se déroulent dans un climat d’écoute, de confidentialité et de respect.

Psychologue clinicienne spécialisée en psychologie clinique de l’adulte et en psychotraumatologie, je propose des accompagnements individuels en respectant le rythme de chacun, dans un espace sûr et non jugeant.

Mon approche est centrée sur les émotions et le vécu psycho-corporel et s’appuie principalement sur des outils issus des thérapies cognitivo-comportementales (TCC).

Que vous rencontriez des difficultés passagères, des périodes de vulnérabilité ou des problématiques singulières (anxiété, estime de soi, difficultés émotionnelles, question identitaire, deuil, expérience traumatique, etc..) c’est dans un cadre bienveillant et sécurisant que je vous recevrai. 

Mon travail s’appuie sur l’écoute active, la compréhension des expériences émotionnelles et la conviction que chaque personne possède en elle les ressources pour évoluer et s’ajuster à ce qu’elle traverse.

J’ai à cœur d’orienter les suivis psychologiques selon vos besoins, en donnant du sens à ce que vous traversez et en développant ensemble des stratégies adaptées pour favoriser votre apaisement et restaurer une cohérence de soi.

Par mes accompagnements, je souhaite soutenir chaque personne dans la redécouverte d’un rapport apaisé, clair et ancré à elle-même.

Je m’appelle Candy, psychologue clinicienne spécialisée dans la psychologie de l’adulte. J’accueille les jeunes adultes, adultes et couple qui ressentent le besoin d’un accompagnement psychologique à Marchienne-au-Pont (Charleroi), au sein du Centre médical Santé-Cartier et à Nivelles, au sein du Centre de Santé Holistique.

I am a clinical psychologist, trained in victimology and psycho-traumatology and in continuing education in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In parallel to my consultation, I work in the Mental Health Service of the Province of Brabant Wallon in Tubize with adults and adolescents. As a person and a psychologist, I have always valued listening and empathy. Thus, the welcome and the non-judgmental attitude that I guarantee to my patients, allow me to create a secure relationship with them, characterized by benevolence. My practice is characterized by the use of various tools such as relaxation, anchoring and self-hypnosis techniques. The patient can learn to use these tools to work through his or her emotions and experience them more serenely. The establishment of a trusting and collaborative relationship between the patient and myself is essential in order for us to work together. In this way, the support that I will offer the patient will allow him/her to have a space where he/she can free his/her speech and verbalize his/her emotions, so that we can make sense of what he/she is going through. The change that the patient wants to achieve and the setting of objectives according to his initial request, as well as the realization of new experiences in a secure place, will be at the center of the care that I propose to offer him.

Psychologue clinicienne agréée par la commission des psychologues, diplômée de l'UCL, j'ai ensuite effectué un troisième cycle en psychothérapie systémique (ULB) afin d'avoir une vision plus large des différents systèmes dans lesquels toute personne peut être amenée à évoluer. Je propose de mettre à votre disposition un espace d'écoute, de bienveillance et de co-construction afin de vous accompagner au mieux quel que soit la problématique que vous pouvez rencontrer. Je vous propose un accompagnement sur des thématiques telles que le stress, la gestion des émotions, le manque de confiance ou d'estime de soi, les difficultés relationnelles, le deuil, etc...

Having worked in Latin America and practicing with expatriates, I attach particular importance to language, which can bring valuable subtleties to the therapeutic work. I receive in French as well as in Portuguese. The modalities and rhythm of the sessions will be determined during the first meetings where we will be able to identify the nature of the problem. I receive clients at the Mimosa Center in Brussels on Mondays and Saturdays for individual, family or couple counselling. My consultations are aimed at teenagers, adults and elderly people to whom I offer home follow-ups if necessary.
