Le Dr Louis Smits est chirurgien viscéral et digestif, spécialisé en chirurgie mini-invasive, notamment par laparoscopie, une approche chirurgicale moins agressive qui réduit les douleurs postopératoires et permet une récupération plus rapide pour le patient.

Il propose une prise en charge adaptée à chaque patient et à chaque pathologie du tube digestif, tout en privilégiant des approches modernes et personnalisées.

Il vous accueille au Grand Hôpital de Charleroi (GHDC), sur le site du nouvel hôpital Les Viviers (060/11 21 47), ainsi qu’au cabinet médical Neuville Santé et au Centre médical Mimosa de Waterloo.

Le Dr Louis Smits est un chirurgien digestif jeune, dynamique et particulièrement brillant sur le plan académique. On sent immédiatement qu’il est parfaitement à jour dans ses connaissances et qu’il maîtrise son sujet avec une rigueur impressionnante. Dans son hôpital, il est clairement reconnu pour ses capacités techniques au bloc opératoire: précision, maîtrise des gestes, efficacité, tout inspire confiance. Il est aussi très passionné par son travail, peut être même un peu “trop” parfois, dans le sens où on comprend que la chirurgie est bien plus qu’un métier pour lui. Je suis convaincu que, d’ici quelques années, il sera tellement demandé qu’il deviendra presque impossible d’obtenir un rendez-vous sans une longue attente. Si vous avez l’opportunité de le consulter maintenant, c’est le moment.

Je tiens à remercier chaleureusement le Dr Louis Smits pour son intervention en chirurgie colorectale au Grand Hôpital de Charleroi. Dès la première consultation, il s’est montré extrêmement professionnel, à l’écoute et très rassurant. Il a pris le temps d’expliquer chaque étape avec clarté et patience, ce qui m’a mis en totale confiance. L’intervention s’est parfaitement déroulée et le suivi post-opératoire a été irréprochable. Toujours disponible et attentif, il veille réellement au bien-être de ses patients. Un chirurgien compétent, humain et engagé que je recommande sans hésitation.
