Welcome to my practice at Global Smile Care in Belgium. I am Dr. Carla Vilas Boas, a dedicated dental professional with over 20 years of clinical experience committed to providing the highest standard of care through precise surgical techniques and clear communication. 


Throughout my career, I have focused extensively on Advanced Implantology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and Dental Prosthesis. Alongside my work here in Belgium, I maintain an active international presence as the Clinical Director of Instituto Vilas Boas in Portugal, where I manage a team of 23 professionals and oversee two highly regarded dental clinics in the Algarve (Loulé and Quarteira).


To ensure my patients benefit from the latest evidence-based techniques, I continually pursue postgraduate training globally. My education includes intensive surgical and implantology programs across the United States, Germany, Cuba, and Belgium. Furthermore, I am currently advancing my expertise through the 2026 Postgraduate Course in Oral Rehabilitation with Zygomatic Implants at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele.

I went it with a bad tooth pain. Doctor Carla quickly diagnosed that it was my wisdom tooth growing incorrectly and we decided that it is best to remove it. The whole procedure was done fast and painless, and dr. Carla kept reassuring and giving warm energy throughout the whole session. Highly recommend her!
