I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree from KU Leuven, where I specialize in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on Manual Therapy for Spinal Disorders and Chronic Pain Rehabilitation. I am currently a candidate for the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy.

Additionally, I am a research assistant at Pain in Motion and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where I contribute to chronic pain research. I focus on the biopsychosocial factors and personalize my therapeutic plan depending on the needs of the patient.

Fysiotherapeute, Shanna Kayembe, is in 2018 afgestudeerd aan Parnasse Isei waar zij een master in fysiotherapie behaalde. Zij is gespecialiseerd in nekpijn, schouderrevalidatie en sportfysiotherapie. Zij heet u van harte welkom in haar praktijk in Evere en in de W Sport Kliniek.

Als algemeen fysiotherapeut behandel ik pijn aan het bewegingsapparaat (nek-, rug-, hand- en polsklachten, maar ook heup-, knie- of enkelproblemen). Ik behandel ook lage rugpijn. Ik ben momenteel geregistreerd en ik zie mijn patiënten in Elsene in het Kine+ Centrum in de Troonstraat 228, Brussel van maandag tot vrijdag van 8 tot 14 uur en in het Ambiorix21 centrum (Ambiorix21 Plein 1000 Brussel) op dinsdag en donderdag van 15 tot 21 uur.

Diplômé d’un Master en Kinésithérapie et Réadaptation à l’Université Libre de Bruxelles (U.L.B.), je suis également titulaire d’un master en sciences de la motricité.

Je suis ainsi spécialisé dans les pathologies sportives, mais je m’occupe également des prises en charges dites « générales », des rééducations pré- et post-opératoires et orthopédiques.

Depuis plus de 20 ans , je m'occupe de la préparation physique d'athlètes de tous niveaux du professionnel à l'amateur .

My name is Bruna Correia.

I worked for 3 years in Portugal as a physiotherapist and I used that time to invest as much as I could in courses so that I could provide quality treatments to my patients. 

My main goal is to continue investing in gaining more and more knowledge so that I can apply it in my clinical practice. I'm a big fan of quality treatments and good follow-up with patients. That makes all the difference to the patient's progress.

I'm very involved in the musculoskeletal area and for this reason I treat pathologies such as back, shoulder, elbow, knee pain, I work a lot on post-operative rehabilitation and also with tendonitis, bursitis and calcifications.

I love doing treatments that involve acupuncture because I really like the quick and long-lasting results, and acupuncture allows me to do that. That's why I really enjoy combining my knowledge of physiotherapy with my knowledge of acupuncture (traditional Chinese medicine).
