I have a master's degree in clinical psychology (ULB) and am training in psychoanalytically oriented child psychotherapy (ULB). During my professional career, I have worked with patients of all ages. I receive children, adolescents and adults. Caring and non-judgment are the values I rely on to offer you a safe space. It is a place where you can come as you are, with your difficulties, your questions and your desires. The work in which I accompany you is a co-construction in which you are the actor. Important life events (and transitions), self-esteem problems, emotional management, relational difficulties, need for guidance or parenting support, school dropout, phobia... so many worries that can cause suffering and for which you can be supported! Together, we work on what you want to share, whether it be through discussion, games, drawing... thanks to a follow-up adapted to your rhythm and your needs.

Jean-Baptiste Immers is a clinical psychologist trained in cognitive behavioral therapies. He graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and holds a master's degree in clinical psychology and psychopathology obtained in 2012. He is specialized in stress, burn-out, anxiety and anxiety disorders as well as depression and emotional and mood disorders. He has been practicing at the C.H.U. Brugmann and you can now find him in the offices located in Brussels and Waterloo, where he will be pleased to welcome you.

As a clinical psychologist with a passion for human functioning and relationships, I offer to accompany individuals on their singular path to well-being. In a posture of active, empathic and benevolent listening and thanks to tools borrowed from cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and existential therapy. Considering continuous training as essential in the course of a clinician, I am currently training in processual psychotherapy. In this context, I pay particular attention to the importance of the therapeutic relationship and the choice of therapeutic techniques based on scientific evidence.

I am a registered clinical psychologist, graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and I have at heart to understand the human being and to help him/her as well as possible to face the events of his/her life. The individual is not reduced to his dysfunctions but is in constant evolution in his search for well-being and fulfillment. In the continuity of Carl Rogers' humanistic psychology, I believe in the valorization of each person's potential and in his or her ability to integrate and overcome difficulties. The proposed consultations take place in a warm, caring and non-judgmental environment, where all subjects can be discussed. In this space co-constructed with the patient, my role will be to accompany you in exploring and expressing your experiences, but also to welcome and help you understand the difficulties you are facing at this particular moment of your life. As a therapist, it is essential for me to offer you an intervention that takes into account the uniqueness of each person. Depending on your request, the treatment can be punctual or prolonged, adapted to your rhythm and your real needs. I propose accompaniment for all adults in suffering for different requests such as: relational or emotional difficulties, search for meaning, self-esteem, ill-being, management of stress/anguishments, depressions, dependencies...
