Welcome!
Every journey is a unique adventure, filled with its own colors, nuances, victories, and moments of doubt. Faced with daily challenges, academic hurdles, or emotional storms, it is completely natural to feel a bit lost at times.
As a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist graduated from the University of Liège, I offer children (from age 6), teenagers, and students a gentle, warm, and safe space to move forward at their own pace.
What truly drives me is helping children and young people regain their smile, peace of mind, and a real sense of lightness in their daily lives. I firmly believe that every child has the right to thrive, play, experiment, and be fully themselves—without ever being forced into a box. In a world that sometimes tries to fit us into rigid molds—even though we are all unique pieces, sometimes round, sometimes stars or diamonds—I am committed to creating a space where you can finally breathe, put your heavy bag down, and feel truly listened to.
My practice is built around three main pillars:
1) Psychological and Emotional Support (ages 6–18)
A compassionate space to express worries, understand what is happening inside, and discover one's strengths. Together, we move forward step by step to:
-Manage stress, fears, and moments of anxiety
-Navigate through emotions (anger, frustration, sorrow, sadness, etc.)
-Nurture self-confidence, self-esteem, and foster a gentle view of oneself.
My approach is creative and tailored to each individual. Games, drawing, metaphors, and visual tools become our best allies to express feelings and unlock personal resources.
2) Neuropsychology & Study Skills (ages 6–18 and higher education students)
On a cognitive level, I help learners better understand how their brain works so they can rediscover the joy of learning, gain independence, and feel more confident in their abilities.
-Children and teenagers: I work directly with their school materials (notebooks, homework, school agenda, etc.) to develop concrete, engaging strategies for organization, memory, concentration, and managing mental workload.
-Higher education students: Personalized methodological support to structure large volumes of course material, plan study periods without burning out, adopt effective study habits, and approach exams with confidence.
3) Neuropsychological and Attentional Assessments (ages 6–16)
An assessment is like a snapshot that helps us better understand a young person’s cognitive functioning while highlighting both their strengths and needs. I conduct:
-Intellectual assessments (IQ tests)
-Intellectual assessments required for speech therapy reimbursement
-Attentional and executive function assessments (ADHD)
Every evaluation includes a supportive feedback session, a clear written report, and practical recommendations to use in everyday life—both at home and at school.
Here, every meeting is a genuine partnership where the young person and their family are at the heart of the story.
It will be my pleasure to welcome you to Centre Amimo!
