I hold a Master's degree in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Development from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). I work with children (from the age of 6), adolescents, and adults to assess cognitive functioning and support individuals experiencing cognitive difficulties.
My aim is to help each patient gain a better understanding of their cognitive functioning, identify their strengths, better understand the challenges they face, and receive support tailored to their individual needs. My practice is based on scientific rigor, respect for each patient, and the development of a trusting therapeutic relationship.
I primarily offer:
- Comprehensive neuropsychological assessments exploring cognitive functions such as attention, memory, executive functions, language, and visuospatial abilities.
- Comprehensive intellectual assessments providing an overall evaluation of intellectual functioning.
- Non-verbal intellectual assessments carried out as part of the reimbursement process for speech and language therapy in Belgium.
- Assessments of attention and executive functioning, particularly in cases of suspected Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or learning difficulties.
- Individualized neuropsychological rehabilitation based on each patient's cognitive profile, goals, and everyday needs. These sessions aim to develop practical strategies for managing cognitive difficulties, strengthen cognitive functions where appropriate, and promote independence in everyday life.
Assessments are generally conducted in three stages:
- An initial clinical interview to discuss the reason for referral, the patient's background, and their concerns.
- Administration of standardized assessments selected according to the referral question and the individual's profile.
- A feedback session including a detailed explanation of the results, delivery of a written report, and recommendations for further support where appropriate.
I place great importance on listening, empathy, and collaboration, ensuring that every patient is welcomed in a supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental environment.
