I am a clinical psychologist with a master’s degree from Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), and I work with adults facing emotional difficulties, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or repeated patterns that feel hard to change. In my practice, I use schema therapy — a method that helps people understand and change long-standing patterns that often come from unmet emotional needs earlier in life. I completed my basic training in Schema Therapy with the ISST (International Society of Schema Therapy), and I’m passionate about this approach. I also have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I integrate tools from both approaches depending on each person’s needs. I aim to support people in breaking self-destructive cycles and building a more authentic, emotionally fulfilling life.

Klinik psikoloji yüksek lisans eğitimimi Brüksel'de Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB)’de tamamladım. Yetişkinlerle çalışıyorum ve terapide ağırlıklı olarak duygusal zorlanmalar, ilişki problemleri, özgüven eksikliği, depresyon, anksiyete bozuklukları ve kişilik örgütlenmesine dair sorunlarla ilgileniyorum. Terapi sürecimde temel olarak Şema Terapi yaklaşımını benimsiyorum. Şema terapi, bireyin çocukluk döneminde gelişen duygusal ihtiyaçlarının yeterince karşılanmaması sonucu oluşan ve bugün ilişkilerini, düşünce biçimini ve yaşam döngülerini etkileyen kalıpları anlamasına ve dönüştürmesine yardımcı olur. Bu yaklaşım üzerine ISST (Uluslararası Şema Terapi Derneği) onaylı temel eğitimimi tamamladım. Ayrıca Bilişsel Davranışçı Terapi (BDT) alanında da eğitim aldım ve bu iki yöntemi kişinin ihtiyaçlarına göre entegre bir şekilde kullanıyorum.

As a clinical psychologist with a degree from the ULB, I offer a caring and reassuring framework to accompany any person experiencing discomfort, questions or symptoms. Although my approach is mainly analytical, I consider the treatment as an active collaboration between the psychologist and the consultant. Thus, I sometimes use concepts and tools from other approaches (systemic and ttc) in order to adapt my practice to the individuality of the person. I receive teenagers and adults individually for 45 minutes, either for a one-time meeting or for a long-term follow-up.

Psychologue clinicienne passionnée, je propose des consultations individuelles destinées aux adolescents et aux adultes. Mon objectif est d’offrir un espace bienveillant, sécurisant et respectueux, où chacun peut venir se déposer et bénéficier d’un accompagnement face aux difficultés personnelles qu’il traverse.

Mon approche thérapeutique repose sur l’écoute active, avec une attention portée au contexte relationnel, familial et environnemental dans lequel s’inscrit chaque personne. Le travail thérapeutique est pour moi avant tout une rencontre, unique et empreinte d’humanité, entre le/la thérapeute et le/la patient.e. C’est dans cet espace que peut se construire, à son rythme, une rencontre authentique avec soi-même. Je souhaite que mes consultations puissent devenir un lieu d’accueil et de soutien, favorisant l’expression de ce qui pèse, mais aussi l’émergence de nouvelles perspectives.

J’accompagne des personnes confrontées à diverses problématiques telles que l’anxiété, la dépression, les difficultés relationnelles et familiales, les troubles alimentaires, les vécus traumatiques ou encore les périodes de transition et de remise en question.

Parallèlement à mon activité en cabinet, je travaille dans un Service Résidentiel Général (SRG) auprès d’adolescents placés par l’Aide à la Jeunesse ou la Protection de la Jeunesse. Cette expérience enrichit ma pratique quotidienne : elle me permet de mieux comprendre les réalités complexes des jeunes, leurs fragilités, mais aussi leurs ressources et leur capacité de résilience.

Je suis titulaire du VISA et de l’agrément de psychologue délivrés par le SPF Santé Publique, ce qui garantit l’exercice d’une profession réglementée dans le domaine des soins de santé. En tant que membre de la Commission belge des psychologues, mes consultations peuvent être partiellement remboursées selon les modalités de votre mutuelle.

Ik ben Laura, erkend klinisch psycholoog. Daarnaast volg ik nog de specialisatie-opleiding Gedragstherapie. Ik geef therapie aan adolescenten, volwassenen en ouderen (alle leeftijden boven 16 jaar). Graag neem ik de tijd om in een veilige en ondersteunende omgeving samen met jou aan de slag te gaan, op jouw tempo. Dit kan in de praktijk in Meise, maar kan ook via videocall: waar jij je het beste bij voelt.

Werkwijze

Tijdens de eerste sessie(s) zal ik de tijd nemen om te luisteren naar jouw verhaal en hulpvragen, waarbij ik ook vragen zal stellen om goed zicht te krijgen op wat er speelt. Hierbij vind ik het belangrijk dat je voldoende vertrouwen kan opdoen en rustig kan aanvoelen hoe je je zelf bij het gesprek voelt.

Vervolgens zullen we samen tot een schema komen waarin helder wordt hoe de verschillende klachten op elkaar inspelen en kiezen we met welke klacht we starten. Op basis hiervan wordt een geïndividualiseerd behandelplan opgesteld. Dit houdt in dat de behandeling aangepast wordt aan jouw specifieke behoeften. Weet dat je doorheen dit proces steeds zelf inspraak hebt. 

Ik maak gebruik van technieken uit de cognitieve gedragstherapie, aangezien de effectiviteit hiervan wetenschappelijk bewezen is. Deze aanpak vertrekt kort samengevat uit de interactie van gedachten, gevoelens en gedrag en hoe deze van invloed zijn op jouw leven.

Mijn benadering is gebaseerd op onvoorwaardelijke acceptatie, authenticiteit en respect. Dit zodat je je vrij kan voelen om te spreken en je serieus genomen kan voelen.

91,13 euro per sessie

+1x36,45 euro dossierkost (tijdens sessie 3).

Annuleringsbeleid

Sessies die niet minstens 48u op voorhand worden geannuleerd, worden volledig aangerekend.

Bijkomende info

*Afspraken maken gebeurt tijdens de sessies, telkens één maand op voorhand, op die manier wordt er voor bestaande patiënten voldoende plek voorbehouden. Het online boeken dient voor nieuwe patiënten, maar ook voor bestaande patiënten die tussen sessies door merken dat ze nood hebben aan een extra gesprek.
