Graduated with distinction from HELB in physiotherapy, I have been passionate about this profession since I was very young. My academic career has been enriched by numerous internships in various healthcare environments, notably in nursing homes, hospitals and in physiotherapy practices. I like human contact, whether with children, adults or the elderly. I quickly discovered my passion for end-of-life support and pediatrics and I aspire to specialize in these areas to bring a more rigorous approach and greater comfort to my practice. My approach as a physiotherapist is characterized by my deep empathy, my positive dynamic, my ability to reassure patients and my rigor in my care. Laura Bousson is a professional osteopath since 2017. She studied respectively at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and at the International Academy Of osteopathy. Her different trainings have earned her a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation since 2012 and a D.O. Osteopathy diploma in 2017. During her training, Laura Bousson had to realize a thesis on the impact of smoking behavior on perioperative complications in physical therapy. She also completed a dissertation on osteopathic treatment in the management of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. To reinforce her skills, Laura Bousson has worked in several practices and structures. These include a personal practice in Jette BXL, Womens Medical Center, Cabinet Jasmine Leleu. She is also a teacher and assistant at the International Academy of Osteopathy. Laura Bousson is specialized in General Osteopathy, Pre- and Post-natal Osteopathy and Pediatric Osteopathy. Committed to her passion for osteopathy, she occasionally writes articles on her blog to pass on information to patients. She also supervises theses at the International Academy of Osteopathy. I have always been attracted to the medical world and, more particularly, to everything related to movement. This is why I naturally turned to physical therapy. I then turned to osteopathy, whose philosophy goes beyond the simple therapeutic approach to become a true passion in all its aspects. I graduated from the Belgian College of Osteopathy and am a member of the Professional Union of Belgian Osteopaths (UPOB). I also obtained a certificate of study from the European School of Osteopathy, after various training courses in England. I then trained and continue to train in all its specificities: pediatrics, perinatality, sports approach, ... Osteopathy can take care of a patient from birth to the end of his life. It allows restoring the function and mobility of organs and joints.
