Graduated with a Master's degree in physiotherapy from the Catholic University of Louvain in 2019. I had the opportunity to work for 3 consecutive years in France. Sociable, attentive, smiling and empathetic, I enjoy contact with patients and my goal is to offer them the best possible rehabilitation as well as to see them evolve. Diplômé d'un master en kinésithérapie et réadaptation en 2021 à l'Université Libre de Bruxelles, j'y ai effectué des stages dans divers domaines tels que l'orthopédie, la revalidation cardiaque, la pédiatrie ou encore la gériatrie... J'ai donc acquis une solide expérience en travaillant avec divers patients, de l'enfant au senior en passant par l'athlète. L'approche holistique et la bonne relation patient-thérapeute sont essentielles pour moi car je place le patient au cœur du traitement. Je suis passionné par le corps humain, le bien-être physique et le sport (principalement le football et la course à pied). En quête de perfectionnement, j'envisage de participer à d'autres formations continues.

Diplômé en 2022 à la Haute École Libre de Bruxelles, j’ai débuté ma carrière en exerçant pendant six mois sur l’île de La Réunion. Depuis la création du centre Medkin à Braine-l’Alleud, j’y pratique la kinésithérapie générale du lundi au vendredi.

Soucieux d’enrichir mes compétences, je suis actuellement une formation en thérapie manuelle à la SFER.

Passionné par le sport, notamment le basket et la course à pied, j’adapte mes traitements aux besoins spécifiques de chaque patient, qu’il s’agisse de rééducation, de prévention ou d’optimisation des performances.

My specialties are: low back pain, neck pain, balance rehabilitation and rehabilitation after prosthesis. I can provide you with manual rehabilitation (neurological or respiratory), help you to get rid of your joint pain, your low back pain or any other pain (hand, back, neck or wrist). You can also consult me for a sports injury, for a post-operative rehabilitation or for a bone problem. My consultations are conducted by appointment in French, English or Polish depending on the language spoken by my patient. With 9 years of practice in a medical center, I have enriched my practice with exchanges with my colleagues doctors, nurses, psychologists,... Through my various trainings, I have specialized in the treatment of joint, muscle and nerve pain (sciatica, cervicobrachialgia,...), pregnancy support and respiratory kinesiology for babies. I followed the 2 year certificate in manual therapy at UCL and other trainings (Trigger Points, Maitland, Stecco Fasciatherapy, Mulligan, neurodynamics,...) which give me many strings to my bow to help you with your back pain, neck, shoulder, knee, headaches, osteoarthritis,... Physiotherapy, for me, is a collaborative work with the patient. I like to share my knowledge of the body and its pathologies to help you better understand and manage your pain. Passionate about pregnancy, I accompany mothers and couples to prepare for childbirth. My goal is to give them the necessary resources and advice concerning breathing, labor positions, effective pushing,... Kathleen Gillain est ostéopathe D.O. depuis 2024. Elle a d'abord suivi une formation en kinésithérapie à l'école Parnasse ISEI, de 2015 à 2019, avant de se spécialiser en ostéopathie à la Belgian School of Osteopathy, où elle a étudié de 2019 à 2024. Pendant son parcours, Kathleen a rédigé un mémoire en kinésithérapie portant sur les étirements de l'épaule chez les sportifs, et un autre en ostéopathie, axé sur le traitement du nerf vague et son influence sur la fréquence cardiaque. Elle exerce actuellement au cabinet Drugmand, au centre Body Therapy à Sombreffe, ainsi qu’à Mellery. Par ailleurs, Kathleen occupe également le rôle d’assistante à la Belgian School of Osteopathy.

Titulaire d'un Master en kinésithérapie, avec une spécialisation dans le quadrant supérieur, je suis passionné par la prise en charge des patients souffrant de pathologies orthopédiques, allant de la cervicalgie à la lombalgie, en passant par les tendinites du coude.

Physiotherapist qualified in 2001, I followed some training to complete my knowledge but eager to know more I followed the osteopathy training of the C.B.O. I have been part of TEAM BELGIUM since 2008 and participate in various high-level sporting events such as the Olympics, YOG, EYOF, EG, WG. I like to follow, understand, support and advise patients in their rehabilitation. My focus is orthopedics and musculoskeletal injuries. I really enjoy working on the shoulders because it is a complex joint with extremely varied treatments. I take care of both athletic and non-athlete patients, adapting to the patient's requirements regarding the level of rehabilitation or rehabilitation to be achieved.
