Sportswoman and always interested in the human body and helping people, it was quite natural that I studied physiotherapy at the Leonard de Vinci high school. Graduating in 2022, I directly began a specialization in pelvi-perineology at UCL. I treat men and women both in general physiotherapy (orthopedics, sports injuries, geriatrics, etc.) and in abdominopelvic rehabilitation. Je prends en charge tous troubles de l’appareil neuro-musculo-squelettique (« blocage », torticolis, cervicalgie, lombalgie, sciatique, tendinite, entorse, douleurs à la mâchoire…), que le contexte soit aigu ou chronique. Je reçois aussi bien les enfants, les adultes, les sportifs, les femmes enceintes que les seniors. J’accorde une grande importance à la communication, l’écoute du patient, le tout à travers une démarche bienveillante, médicale, critique et scientifique.

Graduating with a master's degree in physical therapy from Parnasse-ISEI in 2017, practitioner Joachim De Meur takes care of all types of musculoskeletal pathology. Specialized in sports, traumatology and orthopedics, he consults at the Stay Strong Sprl Center in Uccle (chaussée de Waterloo 868), a clean and relaxing practice. He also receives you at his office for nutritional advice related to sports, coaching and physical preparation, for the management of sports injuries, for rehabilitation. He helps his patients solve joint problems, to prepare physically before practicing a sport activity. He can also help you overcome hand, neck, back or wrist pain. He is punctual and conducts his consultations in French or English depending on your language.

Je suis spécialisé dans les troubles musculo-squelettiques, particulièrement les douleurs de dos. Mais également la kinésithérapie générale, le traitements tendinopathies, entorses, rééducation post-opératoire, ... 

Je suis kinésithérapeute conventionné à Louvain-La-Neuve, diplômé de l'UCLouvain en 2025, actuellement en formation dans un master complémentaire en musculo-squelettique. Je suis passionné de breakdance et de danse, dont l'analyse du mouvement m'apporte une vision critique qui enrichit ma pratique thérapeutique.

Par une thérapie centrée sur le patient, notre objectif sera de restaurer votre fonction optimale, réduire la douleur et prévenir les récidives grâce à un programme de soins que nous élaborons ensemble.

Graduated from ULB after 6 years of training (a bachelor's degree and 2 master's degrees), I welcome you for your pain and/or blockages of the musculoskeletal system; namely everything relating to muscles, joints and nerves. You are therefore welcome for any acute or chronic problem of low back pain, neck pain, jaw pain/clicking, after-effects of sprains, contractures, inter-costal neuralgia… I also offer support for the pregnancy as well as relief from abdominal pain linked to stress or organic pathologies (Crohn's, UCHR, gastrointestinal reflux). Osteopathy has also demonstrated its effectiveness in the treatment of tension headaches, which are headaches caused by lack of sleep, stress or poor posture. My personal journey made me discover osteopathy by chance. Since childhood, I have always been attracted to the medical field and the art of healing. But in a situation where conventional medicine and medications could not help me, it was thanks to osteopathy and the healing power of the hands that I was able to get better. So I wanted to study myself and learn how to “unblock” others without resorting to medication. I am also very interested in the psychological and emotional dimension of any illness, and this is among other things why I decided to take Chinese medicine courses at the same time at E.T.T.C. in Namur (I do not yet practice in this discipline). This different approach to the human body will allow me to deepen the holistic vision of the person and their illness. I pay particular attention to welcoming you with kindness and active listening, in order to allow the letting go and relaxation essential to healing. I also work Saturday and/or Sunday for emergency osteopathy appointments.

As a sportswoman and musician since I was very young, I quickly understood the importance of a good physical condition.
