Je prends en charge tous troubles de l’appareil neuro-musculo-squelettique (« blocage », torticolis, cervicalgie, lombalgie, sciatique, tendinite, entorse, douleurs à la mâchoire…), que le contexte soit aigu ou chronique. Je reçois aussi bien les enfants, les adultes, les sportifs, les femmes enceintes que les seniors. J’accorde une grande importance à la communication, l’écoute du patient, le tout à travers une démarche bienveillante, médicale, critique et scientifique.

There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. For example, a common backache may result from excessive fatigue in the foot or a malfunctioning jaw. Similarly, would you ever have imagined that overloading the intestines can induce headaches? Graduated with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree specializing in osteopathy at the ULB, I will see you for diagnosis and treatment manual for your pain. My training includes both a solid scientific theoretical base, as well as varied techniques, ranging from joint manipulations to so-called “gentle” techniques. I take the time to listen to you in order to understand the complexity of your clinical history and I respect your requests (phobia of manipulation, modesty, etc.).

My clinical practice is based on my anatomical and physiological knowledge and mainly addresses disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Brian Charbel graduated from the International Academy of Osteopathy as a D.O. Osteopath with high distinction in 2019. He began his career studying physical therapy at I.S.E.K. where he graduated in 2010 with high distinction. After specializing in traumatology and sports physiotherapy, he wanted to develop a more holistic approach to the body and first trained in manual therapy and Busquet Physiological Chains. He then went on to study osteopathy.

Curious to understand the functioning of the human body and passionate about manual medicine, I completed a 6-year course at the Université Libre de Bruxelles before obtaining my osteopathic diploma. Today, I consult in several multidisciplinary practices in Brussels where I ensure a precise, gentle and patient-friendly treatment. As an osteopath, and in a general way, I am interested in musculo-articular pains as well as in their relief by the hand and by the movement. I am particularly interested in the treatment of pregnant women, the jaw joint and its relationship with the cervical spine, and acute situations such as torticollis or lumbago.
