After graduating in clinical psychology at the ULB, Florianne Siegrist trained in family and systemic therapy at the CEFS (Center for Family and System Studies), then in brief therapy and hypnosis with Thierry Melchior. She has also been trained in RTP (Reassociative Trauma Psychotherapy) with Gerald Brassine. She consults in French, English and receives school children, teenagers, adults, couples and families in her private practice in Dion le Val, near Wavre and Louvain la Neuve. Inspiré par ma propre multi-culturalité, je suis thérapeute familial et éducateur de formation. J'ai très vite été sensibilisé au travail auprès des familles. Avec plus de 10 ans d’expérience dans ce domaine et 7 ans au sein d’une unité de psychiatrie infanto-juvenile à Bruxelles. Parallèlement, j'ai choisi d’entreprendre une spécialisation en psychothérapie systémique au CEFS (centre d’étude des familles et des systèmes). Grâce à ses multiples casquettes, je vous propose un accompagnement tant en individuel, qu’en couple (conjugal ou parental) mais aussi en famille. L’approche que je vous propose est globale et vous invite à prendre une position méta pour ainsi observer les interactions entre les membres d’un même système (familial, professionnel, social, etc.). Elle se distingue des autres approches par sa façon de comprendre les relations humaines au sein de votre système. En effet, l'individu n’est pas le seul élément analysé dans la démarche. On part du principe que l’histoire de la famille ou du système agit sur l’individu et que ce dernier transporte avec lui des valeurs, des émotions et des comportements véhiculés par la famille/le système et ceci depuis plusieurs générations.

Titulaire d’un master en psychologie clinique, je me spécialise en psychothérapie systémique. J'accompagne enfants, adolescents, adultes et familles en proposant des suivis thérapeutiques centrés sur les dynamiques relationnelles et familiales.

Systemic therapy teaches us that the symptom "says something" to members of the community (often the family and/or the social-professional milieu) in terms of changing relationships. When did the symptoms emerge? What was happening at that time in the environment, the relational context? What new events have disrupted the balance? The therapy will therefore be interested in present and past relationships in order to understand what, if anything, is being replayed in terms of adjusting emotional distances, affects that have been "affected" and that have triggered the appearance of difficulties, of "ill-being". Offering a guarantee of professional listening equipped by university training and experience is certainly important and primordial, it is the necessary condition for therapy, but in my opinion it is not sufficient. To offer a secure framework by creating a climate of confidence where the humanity which is in each one of us finds its rightful place, such is the state of mind of the consultation. A warm welcome, benevolence, kindness, empathy, non-judgment and unconditional respect for the patient's "experiences" while adopting an unconditional positive attitude towards the person, who he is, are the key words and milestones that must order the "patient-therapist" encounter.
