Wim De Paepe is an osteopath since 2016. Graduate of IAO, he is also a lecturer in this same school. His training and his various specializations allow him to take care of the pathologies of the adult (sportsman, sedentary ...) as well as that of the newborn or the pregnant woman.

I consult every Monday afternoon from 1pm to 6pm at Rue de Tenbosch 85, office n°4. My main objective is to provide psychological support to my patients, using attentive and empathetic listening.

I have 5 years of experience as an osteopath in my own home (after a 5-year training at the IAO, completed in 2016) and 11 years as a physiotherapist in a medical home with a very diversified care and a sharp knowledge of orthopedic disorders, sharpened by a 5-year experience as an assistant and lecturer at the International Academy of Osteopathy (Gent). His approach is based on 3 pillars: Listening: I take the time to make a good history and clinical examination with each patient to make a diagnosis. Techniques : I provide several types of osteopathic techniques : mobilizations, myotensive techniques, manipulations, cranial or visceral techniques, inhibition, hooking... Time: The session lasts 60 minutes in order to ensure a qualitative care to each patient. I deeply love my job and am comfortable with all types of people.

As a neuroscientist fascinated by the human brain, I approached the complexity and delicacy of the psyche by participating in research projects, training and working as a neuropsychologist, notably through cognitive assessments to assess certain disorders. neurodivergents such as, for example, attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD).
