Emilie Parent is a graduate of Parnasse-ISEI. She obtained a master's degree in physical therapy in 2020. She mainly treats orthopedic injuries (fractures, sports injuries, low back pain, ...) but is also qualified for neurological physiotherapy (post-stroke, tetra/para-plegia, Parkinson's, ...), cardiovascular physiotherapy as well as for all types of exercise training. She also practices Dry Needling to treat trigger points. She is also interested in peri-natal support.

Je prends en charge tous troubles de l’appareil neuro-musculo-squelettique (« blocage », torticolis, cervicalgie, lombalgie, sciatique, tendinite, entorse, douleurs à la mâchoire…), que le contexte soit aigu ou chronique. Je reçois aussi bien les enfants, les adultes, les sportifs, les femmes enceintes que les seniors. J’accorde une grande importance à la communication, l’écoute du patient, le tout à travers une démarche bienveillante, médicale, critique et scientifique.

Diplômé de l'ULB en 2022, je reçois au cabinet les patients (à partir de 14 ans) pour accompagner les douleurs et tensions liées au système musculosquelettique, qu’elles soient localisées dans le dos, les membres ainsi qu'au niveau de la mâchoire. Chaque séance s’adapte à votre situation, avec une attention particulière portée à vos habitudes, votre posture, et votre ressenti corporel. Passionate about the human body and how it works, I seek to understand the needs of my patients in order to respond correctly to their expectations. Trained in general and sports osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, I use my knowledge of physiology and anatomy of the human body to treat your pain. I am also specialized in perinatal osteopathy which allows me to treat different disorders in newborns (reflux, non-synostotic plagiocephaly, breastfeeding disorders, torticollis, positional asymmetry, sleep disorders,... )

A young physiotherapist full of energy and ambitions, I do everything I can to achieve my goals and help my patients. Graduated with a master's degree from the Free University of Brussels, I am currently in a year of specialization in sports physiotherapy. Passionate about triathlon for several years and a lifelong gymnast, it was quite natural that I turned to this specialization. Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996.
