Graduated from ULB after 6 years of training (a bachelor's degree and 2 master's degrees), I welcome you for your pain and/or blockages of the musculoskeletal system; namely everything relating to muscles, joints and nerves. You are therefore welcome for any acute or chronic problem of low back pain, neck pain, jaw pain/clicking, after-effects of sprains, contractures, inter-costal neuralgia… I also offer support for the pregnancy as well as relief from abdominal pain linked to stress or organic pathologies (Crohn's, UCHR, gastrointestinal reflux). Osteopathy has also demonstrated its effectiveness in the treatment of tension headaches, which are headaches caused by lack of sleep, stress or poor posture. My personal journey made me discover osteopathy by chance. Since childhood, I have always been attracted to the medical field and the art of healing. But in a situation where conventional medicine and medications could not help me, it was thanks to osteopathy and the healing power of the hands that I was able to get better. So I wanted to study myself and learn how to “unblock” others without resorting to medication. I am also very interested in the psychological and emotional dimension of any illness, and this is among other things why I decided to take Chinese medicine courses at the same time at E.T.T.C. in Namur (I do not yet practice in this discipline). This different approach to the human body will allow me to deepen the holistic vision of the person and their illness. I am an osteopath graduated from the ULB and I work with neuro-musculo-skeletal disorders. During my training, I acquired a solid medical background that allows me to propose a safe treatment adapted to the problem encountered. My training continued with a complementary master in risk management and well-being at work, option ergonomics (ULB, UCLouvain, ULiège and UMons), which allows me to give advice on prevention. I am also an assistant in charge of osteopathy practical works at the Faculty of Motor Sciences of the ULB, which allows me to keep my knowledge up to date.

The physiotherapist, Frédéric Weerlitzer, specialized in orthopedics, traumatology and sports pathologies, graduated from the HELB in 2000. He has been a physical therapist at the RSCA training center since 2005. He welcomes you at the Kio Medical Center every day by appointment.

Impliquée dans le sport depuis un très jeune âge, Laurane Le Fort toujours été passionnée par le corps humain et ses réactions face aux blessures et dérèglements dont il peut être affecté. Très vite, elle a été attirée par la kinésithérapie pour le contact humain et cet attrait du corps. Elle a ensuite voulu s'orienter vers l'ostéopathie pour son approche plus holistique, la prise en considération du patient dans sa globalité, en être entièrement à l'écoute pour l'aider au mieux.

Diplômé à l’ULB en 2019 et ayant un atrait pour le sport, j’ai directement suivi un master complémentaire en pathologie sportive que j’ai terminé en 2020. Par la suite j’ai également suivi une formation en kinésithérapie de la main. J’ai travaillé dans beaucoup de différents domaines pour aujourd’hui me consacrer pleinement à la kinésithérapie orthopédique, traumatologique et sportive. J’ai fait divers autres formations notamment sur la gestion de la douleur, le renforcement musculaire, l’arthrose, etc. Je prévois de continuer à me former régulièrement.

Charline van Wessem is a licensed physical therapist who graduated from ISEK in 2018. She is specialized in Sports Physiotherapy and Adult Neurology. She also offers care in general physiotherapy, pre/post natal, orthopedic senology, rheumatology, geriatrics,... . She currently works in private practice in Woluwé-Saint-Lambert and at the CHU Brugmann (Maternity, multidisciplinary ambulatory consultations in Neurology). Sessions can be held in French or in English.
