Passionné par le corps humain et les interrelations structurelles qui régissent son fonctionnement, je me suis vite intéressé à l’ostéopathie et son approche holistique. Diplômé depuis 18 ans, pratiquant l’ostéopathie générale, j’ai complété mes acquis par, notamment, une spécialisation en ostéopathie et médecine dentaire, ainsi qu’un cursus en Dry Needling lequel consiste en un traitement des trigger points (ou points target) à l’aide d’aiguilles sèches. In 2019 ben ik aan mijn studies osteopathie begonnen. Tijdens mijn opleiding tot osteopaat D.O. werd osteopathie mijn passie. Na een 5-jarige opleiding studeerde ik af als osteopaat D.O. aan de Belgian School of Osteopathy (BELSO). Dit met een thesis over heart rate variability (HRV) die ik verdedigde voor een internationale jury. Elk jaar volg ik bijscholingen en andere aanvullende cursussen. Van een osteopaat D.O. wordt verwacht dat hij jaarlijks minstens één postgraduaat opleiding volgt. Dit om op de hoogte te blijven van nieuwe inzichten of behandelingswijzen.

Naast osteopathie pas ik ook toegepaste kinesiologie (AK) toe, een diagnostische methode die gebruik maakt van spiertesten om functionele verstoringen in het lichaam op te sporen. Applied Kinesiology helpt om een diepere oorzaak van klachten te achterhalen en ondersteunt de osteopathische behandeling. Intoleranties, tekorten en de behoefte aan suppletie kunnen in kaart gebracht worden, wat bijdraagt aan een meer gepersonaliseerde behandeling.

Diplômé en kinésithérapie à l'ISEK en 2022, j'ai rapidement orienté ma carrière vers la kinésithérapie sportive, notamment en travaillant avec les équipes de football de Saint-Louis à La Réunion.
