Podiatry is a paramedical profession based mainly on the study of the foot, but also the analysis of the whole human body, in its posture and in movement. It is often when pain occurs in the feet and ankles that patients turn to a podiatrist. My field of competence includes podiatry in care, as well as biomechanics, in order to carry out a morphostatic and dynamic examination (walking/running) of the patient and if necessary to consider the making of a pair of functional podiatric or posturologic insoles.

En tant que podologue, je reçois en consultation aussi bien des enfants que des adultes pour effectuer un bilan biomécanique complet ainsi qu'une analyse de la marche. Cela me permet de concevoir des semelles fonctionnelles sur mesure, si nécessaire, afin de corriger les troubles de posture et de marche. Suite à mon travail de fin d'étude au sujet des "chaussures minimalistes", j'ai développé une expertise dans la chaussure de sport, en suivant l'évolution de grandes marques et en conseillant des milliers de sportifs de tous niveaux pendant plus de 10 ans.

Passionné et convaincu par les bienfaits du sport et du mouvement, c'est avec conviction que j'accompagne mes patients dans leur traitement. Adepte de la technologie au service de la santé, je travaille avec une plateforme baropodométrique et un scan 3D pour offrir les meilleures semelles sur mesure à mes patients. Conscient de mon environnement, les semelles sont imprimées en 3D dans mon cabinet avec des matériaux recyclables. Consciencieux, les retouches et finitions sont effectuées à la main.

Loving social contact and passionate about the mechanisms of the human body, it is quite natural that I started a training in Osteopathy at the ULB before redirecting myself to Podology, at the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles, from which I graduated in 2019. In order to offer a personalized therapeutic approach and the most complete possible, I followed various trainings, in particular in motor preferences. This allows me, with the help of specific tests, to adapt to the posture and natural movements of each patient, as well as to the type of sport practiced. As for my own sports experience, as a child I played rugby, tennis and volleyball. Then diving and several combat sports, namely, English boxing, Thai boxing, grappling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, completed by weight training and running. Podiatry also led me to specialize in the management of at-risk feet, becoming a diabetes educator. Je prends en charge aussi bien les soins de podologie (ongles incarnés, cors, durillons, ongles épaissis…) que les troubles biomécaniques et posturaux, avec la réalisation de semelles podologiques sur mesure si nécessaire.

J’accorde une attention particulière aux patients diabétiques, pour lesquels un suivi rigoureux et préventif est essentiel. Les soins sont réalisés avec la plus grande précaution afin de limiter les risques de complications (plaies, infections, troubles de la cicatrisation), dans le respect des recommandations en vigueur. Un accompagnement régulier et des conseils personnalisés font partie intégrante de cette prise en charge.

J’accorde une grande importance à l’écoute, à l’explication des soins et au confort du patient, afin de proposer un traitement adapté à chaque situation. Je suis formé en podo-pédiatrie ainsi qu’en analyse posturale, et je travaille dans une approche pluridisciplinaire, notamment au sein d’une Maison Médicale.
