My name is Bruna Correia.

I worked for 3 years in Portugal as a physiotherapist and I used that time to invest as much as I could in courses so that I could provide quality treatments to my patients. 

My main goal is to continue investing in gaining more and more knowledge so that I can apply it in my clinical practice. I'm a big fan of quality treatments and good follow-up with patients. That makes all the difference to the patient's progress.

I'm very involved in the musculoskeletal area and for this reason I treat pathologies such as back, shoulder, elbow, knee pain, I work a lot on post-operative rehabilitation and also with tendonitis, bursitis and calcifications.

I love doing treatments that involve acupuncture because I really like the quick and long-lasting results, and acupuncture allows me to do that. That's why I really enjoy combining my knowledge of physiotherapy with my knowledge of acupuncture (traditional Chinese medicine).

Diplômé à l’ULB en 2019 et ayant un atrait pour le sport, j’ai directement suivi un master complémentaire en pathologie sportive que j’ai terminé en 2020. Par la suite j’ai également suivi une formation en kinésithérapie de la main. J’ai travaillé dans beaucoup de différents domaines pour aujourd’hui me consacrer pleinement à la kinésithérapie orthopédique, traumatologique et sportive. J’ai fait divers autres formations notamment sur la gestion de la douleur, le renforcement musculaire, l’arthrose, etc. Je prévois de continuer à me former régulièrement.

Graduated in 2019 from a master in physical therapy at the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles, I immediately trained in sports physical therapy as well as in manual therapy (Kinesport, Kinesitherapy of the Sport Expert). I am also a physiotherapist for the soccer club Royal Racing Club Etterbeek. This has allowed me to deepen my knowledge and expertise on sports pathologies, in order to offer you an optimal treatment that will meet your different objectives. Specialized in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and overload pathologies, post-traumatic/orthopedic surgery of the lower limb (ACL, meniscal pathology...), I also have an affinity for the treatment of cervical and dorsolumbar pathologies.

I am specialised in orthopaedic manual therapy, hand and wrist pathologies, TMJ (jaw) pathologies and headaches as well as in the treatment of runners and musicians. I continue to follow regular professional development seminars in order to improve the efficiency of your treatment. As a sportswoman and musician since I was very young, I quickly understood the importance of a good physical condition. I am passionate about the functions and capacities of the human body, and it is with both enthusiasm and benevolence that I accompany you on your treatment journey. I also encourage you to maintain or restart your sporting activities by sharing its many physical and psychological benefits.
