Diplômé d'un Master en Kinésithérapeute au sein de la Faculté des Sciences de la Motricité à l'ULB, je me spécialise dans la prise en charge des pathologies musculo-squelettiques, avec une expertise particulière en orthopédie, traumatologie et kinésithérapie sportive.

Mon objectif est de vous accompagner dans votre rééducation en m'adaptant à vos besoins spécifiques et à vos objectifs personnels, que ce soit pour retrouver une mobilité optimale, reprendre une activité sportive ou pour améliorer votre qualité de vie au quotidien. 

Depuis deux ans, j’assure le suivi de joueurs et joueuses au club de rugby à XV du Boitsfort Rugby Club. Cette expérience m’a permis de développer une approche centrée sur la prévention des blessures et sur la performance athlétique. 

Mes traitements reposent sur le mouvement et la compréhension des symptômes afin de vous rendre acteur de votre rééducation. Ensemble, nous travaillerons pour vous permettre d’acquérir les outils nécessaires à votre autonomie et à un rétablissement durable. Vous serez toujours écouté et impliqué dans votre parcours de soin. 

The physiotherapist, Frédéric Weerlitzer, specialized in orthopedics, traumatology and sports pathologies, graduated from the HELB in 2000. He has been a physical therapist at the RSCA training center since 2005. He welcomes you at the Kio Medical Center every day by appointment.

Kinésithérapeute conventionné, diplômé en 2022. Je travaille actuellement dans deux cabinets ainsi qu’au sein d’un club de football. En cours de spécialisation en kinésithérapie du sport, je prends en charge aussi bien les douleurs du quotidien que les blessures liées à la pratique sportive. J’aime proposer une prise en charge personnalisée et active, en accompagnant chaque patient pas à pas vers une récupération durable.

Kinésithérapeute licenciée depuis presque 20 ans, je reviens en Belgique après plus de 15 ans au Canada. 

Forte d’un bagage mixte de formations et d’expériences, j’ai toujours eu à coeur le bien-être de mes patients.

Graduated with distinction from HELB in physiotherapy, I have been passionate about this profession since I was very young. My academic career has been enriched by numerous internships in various healthcare environments, notably in nursing homes, hospitals and in physiotherapy practices. I like human contact, whether with children, adults or the elderly. I quickly discovered my passion for end-of-life support and pediatrics and I aspire to specialize in these areas to bring a more rigorous approach and greater comfort to my practice. Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome. For the past 10 years, he has also been a member of the teaching staff at the ULB as an assistant in charge of exercises at the Institute of Motor Sciences, and at the HELB as a training supervisor. He also practiced at the osteoarticular center of the Antoine Depage Clinic where he gained the trust of several patients. Jeanne FRANÇOIS est kinésithérapeute spécialisée en kinésithérapie du sport (UCL) et en kinésithérapie de la main(ULB). Passionnée par la performance et la prévention des blessures, elle développe également une expertise dans la prise en charge des cavaliers.

Investie dans le milieu sportif de haut niveau, Jeanne travaille au centre de formation du RSC Anderlecht et accompagne l’équipe DH de hockey du Royal Léopold Club, où elle met en pratique son approche centrée sur l’athlète, le mouvement et la récupération optimale.

Elle propose une prise en charge ciblée en rééducation sportive, traumatologie, orthopédie, réathlétisation, troubles de la main, ainsi que dans les problématiques spécifiques liées à la pratique équestre.

Kinésithérapeute diplômé et titulaire d’un certificat en drainage lymphatique manuel, je prends en charge une patientèle générale, couvrant notamment l’orthopédie, la traumatologie et la rhumatologie.

A young physiotherapist full of energy and ambitions, I do everything I can to achieve my goals and help my patients. Graduated with a master's degree from the Free University of Brussels, I am currently in a year of specialization in sports physiotherapy. Passionate about triathlon for several years and a lifelong gymnast, it was quite natural that I turned to this specialization. Teaming up with the patient and helping them understand their pathology are essential things for me.
