Titulaire d’un Master en Kinésithérapie de la Haute École de Bruxelles HE2B ISEK, j’ai eu l’opportunité d’effectuer de nombreux stages enrichissants dans divers domaines de la rééducation, tels que la revalidation orthopédique, le service ambulatoire, la rééducation cardio-respiratoire, la gériatrie, ainsi que la neurologie adulte et pédiatrique.

Ces expériences m'ont permis de développer une approche globale et personnalisée pour chaque patient. Passionnée par la prise en charge des douleurs chroniques, des lombalgies, des affections musculo-squelettiques et de la traumatologie, je m'efforce de toujours proposer un traitement adapté et ciblé pour répondre aux besoins spécifiques de mes patients. 

Mon objectif est de les accompagner tout au long de leur rééducation, en tenant compte de leurs particularités et de leur quotidien.

Graduated with a master in physiotherapy from the Leonardo da Vinci / Parnasse-Isei high school, the physiotherapist Melanie Van Wassenhove practices at the Take'in Care paramedical center (brusselsesteenweg 159, 3080 Tervuren) and also does home visits on request of her patients. Diplômé en kinésithérapie de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles, je me suis spécialisé en kinésithérapie du sport grâce à la formation Kinesport Expert, ainsi qu’en prise en charge musculo-squelettique.

Ma pratique repose sur une approche active et personnalisée, fondée sur des méthodes validées scientifiquement (EBP), afin d’assurer une récupération durable et de prévenir les récidives.

J’accompagne tout type de patient et de pathologie, en adaptant chaque prise en charge aux besoins et aux capacités de chacun.

J’accorde également une grande importance à l’éducation thérapeutique, convaincu que comprendre son corps est essentiel pour retrouver confiance en ses capacités et favoriser l’autonomie.

Le cabinet se situe au -1 de la maison, par un escalier avec deux rampes.

Emilie Parent is a graduate of Parnasse-ISEI. She obtained a master's degree in physical therapy in 2020. She mainly treats orthopedic injuries (fractures, sports injuries, low back pain, ...) but is also qualified for neurological physiotherapy (post-stroke, tetra/para-plegia, Parkinson's, ...), cardiovascular physiotherapy as well as for all types of exercise training. She also practices Dry Needling to treat trigger points. She is also interested in peri-natal support.
