I graduated in 2012 and continue to educate myself on a regular basis in order to stay current and provide my patients with the best possible care. I am oriented as much as possible towards evidence-based practice (practice that combines the best scientific evidence and takes into account the patient's preferences). I provide general physical therapy (orthopedics, rheumatology, neurology, cardiology, respiratory physical therapy, post-natal physical therapy, chronic pain) and help with the initiation or resumption of sports activities. I have a Master's degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation from the ULB with Great Distinction and I practice general physiotherapy. I am therefore able to provide you with care and to accompany you in your rehabilitation: orthopedic, geriatric, cardiological or neurological. For athletes, my experience in the field will also help you to return to competition in the best conditions. I am available at the office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 4pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. I graduated in Kinesitherapy and Rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2021. In addition to general and ortho-traumatic kinesitherapy, I also practice manual therapy and posturology. I am also following a specialized training in sports physiotherapy since August in order to improve my skills in this field. I have been practicing sports since I was very young, and as a former karate teacher in an international school and black belt (2nd dan) I am passionate about sports and its effects. My ability to listen and my human skills have been recognized by my teachers, I make it a point of honor to make your health my priority. Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy.
