Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy. Located in Forest, on the border of Ixelles, St-Gilles and Uccle, Claire is oriented towards the care of musculoskeletal pain. She receives you for orthopedic treatments, post-operation, scoliosis, or for global muscular reinforcement in prevention of sports injuries. She is particularly interested in shoulder pain, low back pain and neck pain as well as issues related to chronic pain. Trained and certified in STOTT Pilates, she incorporates it into her treatments in order to help patients strengthen their muscles and develop their proprioception. Her goal is to bring people to know their body better and to use it without fear. Diplômée d’un Master en kinésithérapie en 2021, j’ai depuis eu l’opportunité d’exercer dans différents environnements, en France métropolitaine et dans les DOM-TOM. Ces expériences variées m’ont permis de développer une approche humaine, attentive et globale du soin.

Après une première année de pratique en Martinique, puis quelques remplacements en Polynésie, j’ai poursuivi mon parcours dans des cabinets aux profils très différents, dont un cabinet de kinésithérapie du sport à Lille et, plus récemment, un cabinet pluridisciplinaire à Aix-en-Provence. Cette diversité m’a permis d’affiner mes affinités professionnelles, que je continue de nourrir au quotidien.

Bien que je n’aie pas encore de spécialisation officielle, je suis passionnée par :

• La rééducation de la main
• Le traitement des cicatrices, notamment après chirurgie ou cancer du sein
• La gériatrie
• Le drainage lymphatique
• La rééducation du sportif (amateur ou confirmé)

Je ne pratique pas la kiné respiratoire ni la prise en charge des pathologies neurologiques lourdes.
