Passionate about the human body and how it works, I seek to understand the needs of my patients in order to respond correctly to their expectations. Trained in general and sports osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, I use my knowledge of physiology and anatomy of the human body to treat your pain. I am also specialized in perinatal osteopathy which allows me to treat different disorders in newborns (reflux, non-synostotic plagiocephaly, breastfeeding disorders, torticollis, positional asymmetry, sleep disorders,... )

Available and attentive, she wants to support you individually in your treatment, whether you are athletic or not, and then give you the keys that will allow you to prevent possible recurrences.

Sports physiotherapist (BFSP-GOLD) and manual therapist (IFOMPT), I specialize in the management of back problems and sports-related conditions. My patients appreciate my attentive approach and commitment to their recovery. Member of the medical team of Ligue Belge Francophone d'Athlétisme, I am currently pursuing my doctoral thesis part-time at UCLouvain, focusing on manual therapy in the context of lateral ankle sprains.

Diplômé en 2022 d'un master en kinésithérapie. Il a tout naturellement poursuivi sa spécialisation en Ostéopathie au Collège Belge d’Ostéopathie en partenariat avec l’Ecole Européenne d’Ostéopathie de Maidstone en Angleterre afin d'améliorer son diagnostic, élargir ses moyens de traitement et vous assurer une prise en charge globale. Grâce à sa propre passion pour le sport, il fera en sorte de créer une ambiance agréable pour les personnes voulant bouger sous conseils personnels à la fois pendant et après la rééducation. Patient et empathique, c’est avec plaisir qu’il vous accompagnera pour une prise en charge personnalisée que vous soyez sportif ou non. Les pathologies prises en charge sont nombreuses et non-exhaustives : douleurs lombaires, maux de dos/nuque, sciatalgie, problèmes articulaires /musculaires/ tendineux/ ligamentaires, pathologies sportives, pathologies de surcharge, pré et post-opération, traumatismes,…

Fondateur du centre fit center puis Médikin , depuis 1990, j'exerce au centre en tant que kinésithérapeute spécialisé en traumatologie sportive et orthopédie.

Je vous accueille à Bruxelles (Uccle et Woluwe-Saint-Pierre) pour vous offrir des soins adaptés aux douleurs musculo-squelettiques et aux troubles fonctionnels qui affectent votre qualité de vie. Passionnée par une approche globale du corps, je suis attentive à chaque aspect de votre bien-être physique et émotionnel. Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy. You can find her at the Solilau medical center in Rosières, as well as at her private practice in Lasne.

I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) with a Masters in Osteopathy. My goal is to encourage patients to take care of their health and enhance their body's function in a pleasant and relaxed environment.

My holistic approach is very comprehensive and includes a wide combination of techniques (articular, functional, fascial, muscular, visceral, cranio-sacral, etc.). I am passionate about the human body, its capacity to adapt and how osteopathy can help the body in its healing process.

Graduating from UCL in 2013 with a master's degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Maxime then went abroad to practice and perfect his training for 2 years. It was in 2016 that he opened his multidisciplinary practice, the Centre de Kinésithérapie du Bauloy. Specialized in sports physiotherapy, orthopedics and traumatology, he started his osteopathy training in 2015, and it is in 2021 that he obtained his D.O. osteopathy diploma with distinction.

Diplomée de l’UCLouvain, j’ai commencé mon activité dans le domaine de l’orthopédie, en commençant en parallèle une formation en kinésithérapie du sport. 

J’ai un attrait particulier pour les prises en charge actives et ciblées qui permettront au patient de pouvoir améliorer sa problématique initiale. Pour cela, nous trouverons ensemble la manière la plus adaptée pour restaurer votre fonction au quotidien ou encore dans votre activité physique. 

Je mettrai mes connaissances, mes formations et mon expérience à profit afin de vous accompagner au mieux durant nos séances. 

Selon moi, le patient est plus qu’une simple pathologie et est à prendre dans sa globalité en prenant en compte la sphère psycho-sociale également.
