I have a master's degree in physical therapy from the HEPH in Condorcet and have followed a training in respiratory physiotherapy. I practice general, orthopedic, traumatological and respiratory physiotherapy. I can welcome you at my office located in Bierges at the provincial street 215 or in Chaumont-Gistoux at the Chaussée de Huy 252 or come to your home. Holder of a D.O in osteopathy obtained with Great Distinction, Jean-Philippe ORMOND completed his 6 years of studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He practices a medical osteopathy which mainly addresses dysfunctions of the locomotor system and the peripheral nervous system but also digestive or jaw problems. He treats adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body as well as human anatomy, he has coached young students at the University in order to prepare them for their exams. Approved by the Belgian mutualities. A young physiotherapist full of energy and ambitions, I do everything I can to achieve my goals and help my patients. Graduated with a master's degree from the Free University of Brussels, I am currently in a year of specialization in sports physiotherapy. Passionate about triathlon for several years and a lifelong gymnast, it was quite natural that I turned to this specialization. Teaming up with the patient and helping them understand their pathology are essential things for me.

En parallèle, j’exerce à l’hôpital Erasme, ce qui me permet d’avoir en plus de la rééducation fonctionnelle, une expérience en kinésithérapie respiratoire ainsi qu’en revalidation.

Passionné par mon métier et exerçant depuis bientôt 8 ans, je me suis spécialisé en kiné du sport. Je vous accompagne dans votre rééducation, dans la prévention de vos blessures, et dans l’optimisation de vos performances afin de vous aider à atteindre vos objectifs.

Je m’intéresse plus particulièrement aux pathologies spécifiques en course à pied, au trail mais également aux sports collectifs comme le basket-ball et le football. Vous pouvez me retrouver sur le terrain où j’encadre l’équipe de football du Sporting Brussels.

Suivant depuis 4 ans une formation complémentaire en ostéopathie, j’aime approcher le patient dans sa globalité afin de fournir une prise en charge ciblée et individuelle, le tout dans la bonne humeur.

Je prends en charge tous troubles de l’appareil neuro-musculo-squelettique (« blocage », torticolis, cervicalgie, lombalgie, sciatique, tendinite, entorse, douleurs à la mâchoire…), que le contexte soit aigu ou chronique. Je reçois aussi bien les enfants, les adultes, les sportifs, les femmes enceintes que les seniors. J’accorde une grande importance à la communication, l’écoute du patient, le tout à travers une démarche bienveillante, médicale, critique et scientifique.

Animée par une grande soif d'apprentissage et une passion pour le domaine de la santé, j'ai entrepris une formation en kinésithérapie afin de compléter mon parcours d'ergothérapeute.

Je suis conventionnée. J’exerce à domicile mais également dans le Cabinet médical du Transvaal : métro 5, tram 8. Parking facile (accès par l'arrière du bâtiment).
