I am an osteopath graduated from the ULB and I work with neuro-musculo-skeletal disorders. During my training, I acquired a solid medical background that allows me to propose a safe treatment adapted to the problem encountered. My training continued with a complementary master in risk management and well-being at work, option ergonomics (ULB, UCLouvain, ULiège and UMons), which allows me to give advice on prevention. I am also an assistant in charge of osteopathy practical works at the Faculty of Motor Sciences of the ULB, which allows me to keep my knowledge up to date.

Diplomée d'un master en kinésithérapie en 2020 à la Haute Ecole Leonard de Vinci - Parnasse, j'ai acquis de l'expérience dans différents cabinets et hôpitaux. En plus de la kinésithérapie générale, principalement orthopédique, j'ai suivi une formation en thérapie manuelle qui m'a permis de développer des techniques afin de diminuer les douleurs, de retrouver de la mobilité et donc d'améliorer les capacités fonctionnelles. Je suis également formée au Pilates Matwork 1 ce qui me permet de vous proposer des exercices de revalidation doux afin de renforcer les muscles centraux et d'équilibrer le corps.

Je serais ravie de vous recevoir dans l'un de mes cabinets. Je reçois également à domicile pour les patients qui ne peuvent pas se déplacer.

Je suis à votre écoute pour élaborer un traitement adapté à vos besoins, votre bien-être est ma priorité.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance. Thanks to my experience as a dancer combined with my clinical practice, I will make every effort to offer treatments adapted to each patient according to their needs and desires, based on the best scientific evidence available. Actuellement, je continue à me former dans le but de devenir thérapeute manuelle. Je peux me déplacer à domicile. Je propose une approche centrée sur le patient avec un traitement personnalisé aux besoins de chacun.

Graduated in general osteopathy, I provide treatment adapted to the patient and their disorders associated with the pathology. I also specialize in temporomandibular joint disorders, as well as pediatric and perinatal care. Osteopathy is a manual diagnostic and therapeutic approach that targets joint and tissue mobility restrictions. Using different techniques, the osteopath aims to relieve pain and associated disorders, helping to restore the body's function and rebalance it as a whole. Osteopathy is aimed at all populations: adults, elderly people, infants, pregnant women and athletes.

Diplômé d'un master en kinésithérapie au Parnasse-ISEI, je pratique la kinésithérapie générale et sportive. Passionné par le domaine du sport, je me suis naturellement orienté vers les prises en charge liées au système musculo-squelettique (ortho-trauma-sport). Je reçois également pour des prises en charge générale.

Je suis actuellement en cours de formation longue en kinésithérapie du sport.

Je prends en charge les douleurs musculo-squelettiques de diverses origines, qu’elles proviennent de la colonne, des membres, de la mâchoire, etc.

Grâce à mes connaissances en sémiologie, traumatologie, rhumatologie acquises lors de ma formation en collaboration avec la faculté de médecine, je pratique l’ostéopathie de manière sécuritaire et suis en mesure de vous référer vers d’autres professionnels de santé si nécessaire.

Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy. You can find her at the Solilau medical center in Rosières, as well as at her private practice in Lasne.
