Cette dernière consiste à travailler les articulations et les tissus afin de libérer des limitations d'amplitudes. Cela permettra de réaliser des mouvements plus souples et sans douleur.

Je porte également un intérêt accru à l'articulation de l'épaule. Douleurs aiguës, chroniques ou post-opératoire.

L'objectif sera de trouver la technique permettant de diminuer les douleurs et d'augmenter la capacité physique grâce à une prise en charge individualisée.

Sien Peeters works as a physiotherapist at the "Centre Médical Jourdan" in Etterbeek. She graduated from KULeuven in June 2018 with a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Kinesitherapy. Patients can contact her for all kinds of problems and injuries: musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, jaw joint problems etc.

Nayis David is a registered physiotherapist practicing at Basic-fit at Place Jourdan. Passionate about his profession and attentive to his patients, his areas of activity are mainly general physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal disorders such as sprains, tendinopathy, neck pain, lower back pain, etc.; Respiratory disorders; Cardiac rehabilitation; Post -operatives; Fractures,...), sports physiotherapy (Sports injury, hooking, sports manual therapy, rehabilitation, athlete monitoring,...) and plans to soon train in maxillofacial physiotherapy (TMJ disorders) and physiotherapy vestibular. His approach consists of having better pain management by putting the patient at the center of his rehabilitation via several manual techniques and different exercises specific to the patient while basing on his experience in outpatient services (Cardiac revalidation at the Clinique de Europe and in Orthopedic Revalidation at the Bois de la Pierre Clinic). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree from KU Leuven, where I specialize in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on Manual Therapy for Spinal Disorders and Chronic Pain Rehabilitation. I am currently a candidate for the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy.

Additionally, I am a research assistant at Pain in Motion and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where I contribute to chronic pain research. I focus on the biopsychosocial factors and personalize my therapeutic plan depending on the needs of the patient.

Je suis Gisèle Michiels, kinésithérapeute et thérapeute manuelle spécialisée en pédiatrie et rééducation pour adultes.
