Laura Bousson is a professional osteopath since 2017. She studied respectively at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and at the International Academy Of osteopathy. Her different trainings have earned her a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation since 2012 and a D.O. Osteopathy diploma in 2017. During her training, Laura Bousson had to realize a thesis on the impact of smoking behavior on perioperative complications in physical therapy. She also completed a dissertation on osteopathic treatment in the management of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. To reinforce her skills, Laura Bousson has worked in several practices and structures. These include a personal practice in Jette BXL, Womens Medical Center, Cabinet Jasmine Leleu. She is also a teacher and assistant at the International Academy of Osteopathy. Laura Bousson is specialized in General Osteopathy, Pre- and Post-natal Osteopathy and Pediatric Osteopathy. My outgoing, caring and passionate personality resonates with the philosophy of osteopathy which I decided to study for the human contact and the help to others through a hollistic approach to understand the origin of problems, to treat them and to avoid possible chronic injuries. Osteopathy, an alternative and traditional medicine, is a primary health care discipline and is therefore partially refunded by the mutual insurance company. I graduated in July 2022 from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in England and had the opportunity to study the human body and practice for 4 years. My training in England allowed me to learn the 3 bases of osteopathy such as the structural, the functional and the visceral and to put it into practice at the school's clinic where I was able to treat my patients for 2 years with supervision. These 1300 hours of clinical practice allowed me to acquire a wide range of techniques such as: articular, cranial, cranio-sacral, facial, myotensive, visceral, etc.. During my last year of master, I had the chance to specialise in pediatrics, perinatal and sports medicine.
