IMPORTANT!! Starting in November 2025, consultations in Etterbeek will take place at “Boulevard Louis Schmidt 10, 1040 Etterbeek” on Mondays (afternoon/evening) and Thursdays (morning + afternoon/evening). Consultations in Woluwe Saint Pierre will take place on Tuesday (afternoon/evening).

I only practice osteopathy in my office. Consultations are in French, English, Arabic or Armenian. I treat adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies).  After completing my physiotherapy studies at the Lebanese University, I came to Belgium to study osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body and human anatomy, I work as an assistant in the ULB functional anatomy laboratory, assisting medical students with practical anatomy work.

Curious to understand the functioning of the human body and passionate about manual medicine, I completed a 6-year course at the Université Libre de Bruxelles before obtaining my osteopathic diploma. Today, I consult in several multidisciplinary practices in Brussels where I ensure a precise, gentle and patient-friendly treatment. As an osteopath, and in a general way, I am interested in musculo-articular pains as well as in their relief by the hand and by the movement. I am particularly interested in the treatment of pregnant women, the jaw joint and its relationship with the cervical spine, and acute situations such as torticollis or lumbago.

My outgoing, caring and passionate personality resonates with the philosophy of osteopathy which I decided to study for the human contact and the help to others through a hollistic approach to understand the origin of problems, to treat them and to avoid possible chronic injuries. Osteopathy, an alternative and traditional medicine, is a primary health care discipline and is therefore partially refunded by the mutual insurance company. I graduated in July 2022 from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in England and had the opportunity to study the human body and practice for 4 years. My training in England allowed me to learn the 3 bases of osteopathy such as the structural, the functional and the visceral and to put it into practice at the school's clinic where I was able to treat my patients for 2 years with supervision. These 1300 hours of clinical practice allowed me to acquire a wide range of techniques such as: articular, cranial, cranio-sacral, facial, myotensive, visceral, etc.. During my last year of master, I had the chance to specialise in pediatrics, perinatal and sports medicine. I had the exceptional opportunity to treat babies as young as a few weeks old, children and teenagers, pregnant women and post-partum, athletes and elderly people. Osteopath D.O. graduated from the ULB (first university teaching of Osteopathy in Belgium), Romain Derue has a very broad field of intervention. He mainly treats musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprains, tendinitis) but also digestive, jaw and stress problems. His practice in the office is reassuring and can be adapted to everyone, whatever their profile, age or activity. Romain Derue can therefore treat athletes, pregnant women, adults and children.

Attiré par le contact humain et le sport en général, j’ai débuté comme kinésithérapeute en 1999. Je me suis ensuite spécialisé en kiné du sport.
