Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome. With 14 years experience as a physiotherapist at the foot of the Austrian mountains, I have now decided to continue my work in Belgium. 

I've continually developed and trained in the field of orthopaedics, surgery and traumatology.

I am specialised in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy and lymphatic drainage. 

I'm passionate about my work and want to use my knowledge and expertise to support and guide you in your rehabilitation. 

I'm fluent in German and English and have a good level of French, which I'm improving on a daily basis.

Graduated with distinction from HELB in physiotherapy, I have been passionate about this profession since I was very young. My academic career has been enriched by numerous internships in various healthcare environments, notably in nursing homes, hospitals and in physiotherapy practices. I like human contact, whether with children, adults or the elderly. I quickly discovered my passion for end-of-life support and pediatrics and I aspire to specialize in these areas to bring a more rigorous approach and greater comfort to my practice. My approach as a physiotherapist is characterized by my deep empathy, my positive dynamic, my ability to reassure patients and my rigor in my care. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the well-being and health of my patients while creating a warm and safe environment for their rehabilitation. I am determined to provide quality care and support my patients in maintaining their autonomy and improving their quality of life.

Licensed Physical Therapist. Graduated from a master in physical therapy in 2017, my practice is focused on a manual approach, centered on the patient, his needs and his goals in order to best adjust the treatment. My years of experience in various institutions (Institut Jules Bordet - treatment of cancer patients, Hôpital Molière-Lonchamp, Centre Keops) have enabled me to acquire the ability to treat patients in a way that is adapted to each individual. I am currently studying osteopathy at the CBO (Collège Belge d'Ostéopathie)
