Je m'appelle Jordi, espagnol d'origine, mais depuis quelques années installé sur Bruxelles!

Depuis toujours lié au corps, en premier temps en tant que Préparateur Physique dans différents domaines, puis du côté des soins de santé avec une vision du "corps en mouvement" (on est fait pour bouger).

L'importance d'une bonne anamnèse, d'une bonne réflexion autour de la personne, des problèmes qui se présentent, et bien comprendre le tout pour une meilleure prise en charge fait partie des priorités dans la prise en charge, pas seulement soulager, sinon essayer de trouver le problème de base (d'origine) et d'essayer de l'enlever et/ou le corriger.

Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome. For the past 10 years, he has also been a member of the teaching staff at the ULB as an assistant in charge of exercises at the Institute of Motor Sciences, and at the HELB as a training supervisor. He also practiced at the osteoarticular center of the Antoine Depage Clinic where he gained the trust of several patients. Today, physiotherapist Michel Schoonjans welcomes you in his own practice in Uccle. You can also find him at City Clinic in the city of Ixelles. I worked for 3 years in Portugal as a physiotherapist and I used that time to invest as much as I could in courses so that I could provide quality treatments to my patients. 

My main goal is to continue investing in gaining more and more knowledge so that I can apply it in my clinical practice. I'm a big fan of quality treatments and good follow-up with patients. That makes all the difference to the patient's progress.

I'm very involved in the musculoskeletal area and for this reason I treat pathologies such as back, shoulder, elbow, knee pain, I work a lot on post-operative rehabilitation and also with tendonitis, bursitis and calcifications.

I love doing treatments that involve acupuncture because I really like the quick and long-lasting results, and acupuncture allows me to do that. That's why I really enjoy combining my knowledge of physiotherapy with my knowledge of acupuncture (traditional Chinese medicine).

Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy. You can find her at the Solilau medical center in Rosières, as well as at her private practice in Lasne.

Diplômée d'un master en kinésithérapie à l'Université Catholique de Louvain en 2022, je suis passionnée par le fonctionnement du corps humain et animée par l’envie d’accompagner mes patients dans leur rétablissement et leur bien-être.
