My name is Bruna Correia.

I worked for 3 years in Portugal as a physiotherapist and I used that time to invest as much as I could in courses so that I could provide quality treatments to my patients. 

My main goal is to continue investing in gaining more and more knowledge so that I can apply it in my clinical practice. I'm a big fan of quality treatments and good follow-up with patients. That makes all the difference to the patient's progress.

I'm very involved in the musculoskeletal area and for this reason I treat pathologies such as back, shoulder, elbow, knee pain, I work a lot on post-operative rehabilitation and also with tendonitis, bursitis and calcifications.

I love doing treatments that involve acupuncture because I really like the quick and long-lasting results, and acupuncture allows me to do that. That's why I really enjoy combining my knowledge of physiotherapy with my knowledge of acupuncture (traditional Chinese medicine).

Graduated with a master in physiotherapy from the Leonardo da Vinci / Parnasse-Isei high school, the physiotherapist Melanie Van Wassenhove practices at the Take'in Care paramedical center (brusselsesteenweg 159, 3080 Tervuren) and also does home visits on request of her patients. Her qualities and skills allow her to take care of sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, back pain, joint pain, neurological and respiratory pathologies in children. Graduated in 2013, I specialized in sports physiotherapy in Paris (KINESPORT) until 2015. I now work in a well-equipped multidisciplinary center with a dynamic, specialized and attentive team.

Impliquée dans le sport depuis un très jeune âge, j'ai toujours été passionnée par le corps humain et ses réactions face aux blessures et dérèglements dont il peut être affecté. Très vite, j'ai été attirée par la kinésithérapie pour le contact humain et cet attrait du corps. J'ai ensuite voulu m'orienter vers l'ostéopathie pour son approche plus holistique, la prise en considération du patient dans sa globalité, en être entièrement à l'écoute pour l'aider au mieux.

Passionné par la kinésithérapie et le soin, je mets mon expertise et mon engagement au service de chaque patient à retrouver confort et bien-être durable.

Actuellement en formation à l’IAO en ostéopathie et exerçant à l’hôpital dans un service d'orthopédie ambulatoire en parallèle de mon activité en cabinet, j’accorde une attention particulière à chaque détail pour offrir une prise en charge hollistique et personnalisée.

I have been a physical therapist since 1982, an osteopath in 1994 and a hypnotherapist since 2019. I am also a former trainer in specialization in the following institutions: SERK, CREA, ISCAM, SOFCOK, PARNASSE, BELSO, VALIDA. Punctual, I practice in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe at my private practice, the Centre Didier Abattucci D.O. (Zenithstraat 63). As a hypnotherapist specialized in hypnosis, in specialized kinesiology (with many specializations) and in osteopathy, I practice in a healthy and recovery-friendly environment. Graduated from a master in physical therapy in 2017, my practice is focused on a manual approach, centered on the patient, his needs and his goals in order to best adjust the treatment. My years of experience in various institutions (Institut Jules Bordet - treatment of cancer patients, Hôpital Molière-Lonchamp, Centre Keops) have enabled me to acquire the ability to treat patients in a way that is adapted to each individual.
