Curious to understand the functioning of the human body and passionate about manual medicine, I completed a 6-year course at the Université Libre de Bruxelles before obtaining my osteopathic diploma. Today, I consult in several multidisciplinary practices in Brussels where I ensure a precise, gentle and patient-friendly treatment. As an osteopath, and in a general way, I am interested in musculo-articular pains as well as in their relief by the hand and by the movement. I am particularly interested in the treatment of pregnant women, the jaw joint and its relationship with the cervical spine, and acute situations such as torticollis or lumbago.

Ma principale mission est de soulager vos douleurs en fournissant un traitement adapté à vos besoins et à vos attentes. Pour ce faire j’utilise une large gamme de techniques manipulatives et non-manipulatives (articulaires, musculaires, fasciales…).

Je vous accueille dans un cadre bienveillant à Ixelles (Centre mimosa Louise et Etterbeek), à Schaerbeek (Centre de l’Hirondelle), et à Woluwe-Saint-Pierre (Centre les Etrimaux) où mon sourire, mon dynamisme et mon écoute sont toujours présents pour vous.

I only practice osteopathy in my office. Consultations are in French, English, Arabic or Armenian. I treat adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies).  After completing my physiotherapy studies at the Lebanese University, I came to Belgium to study osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body and human anatomy, I work as an assistant in the ULB functional anatomy laboratory, assisting medical students with practical anatomy work.

This university training (which is the only one of its kind in Europe) has allowed me to develop solid scientific and psychological knowledge in order to offer safe osteopathic treatment adapted to the patient. Osteopath D.O. graduated from the ULB (first university teaching of Osteopathy in Belgium), Romain Derue has a very broad field of intervention. He mainly treats musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprains, tendinitis) but also digestive, jaw and stress problems. His practice in the office is reassuring and can be adapted to everyone, whatever their profile, age or activity. Romain Derue can therefore treat athletes, pregnant women, adults and children.

Je prends en charge les douleurs musculo-squelettiques de diverses origines, qu’elles proviennent de la colonne, des membres, de la mâchoire, etc.
