In 2000 I graduated as a licentiate in Motor Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy at Ghent University and subsequently followed 1 year of sports physiotherapy at KULeuven and manual therapy at VWMT (Flemish Working Group on Manual Therapy). After my studies, I gained work experience in private practices, sports clubs and MPIs and worked with various therapists. Ultimately, I started my own practice in Velzeke in 2010.

Declan Murphy is a chiropractor with over fifteen years of experience in Belgium and the Netherlands.

He graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, the leading chiropractic training institution in Europe.

Dr. Murphy specializes in treating neck and back pain, as well as other conditions related to the neuromusculoskeletal system. He has a particular interest in sports injuries, having trained with some of the world's leading therapists and educators.

Diplômé de l'Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), je suis kinésithérapeute du sport (Conventionné) avec une expertise particulière dans la prise en charge des pathologies liées à la pratique sportive et des troubles musculo-squelettiques. Un second Master de spécialisation m’a permis de consolider et d’enrichir mes connaissances dans ce domaine spécifique. Je suis également titulaire du FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, formation certifiée par la FIFA qui renforce mes compétences dans la prévention, le traitement et le suivi des blessures liées au football et à d'autres disciplines sportives.

Sportswoman and always interested in the human body and helping people, it was quite natural that I studied physiotherapy at the Leonard de Vinci high school. Graduating in 2022, I directly began a specialization in pelvi-perineology at UCL. I treat men and women both in general physiotherapy (orthopedics, sports injuries, geriatrics, etc.) and in abdominopelvic rehabilitation.
