My passion for acupuncture is the result of a long personal and professional path. Growing up in Belgium, as well as Vietnamese and Buddhist culture, the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine is self-evident to me. I first studied Western medicine and with specialisation anaesthesia, a discipline in which pain relief and patient well-being are very important. After working as an anaesthetist for several years, I realised that I needed to take a complementary approach. The right moment arrived when I myself was successfully treated with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. My passion, eagerness to learn and constant search for solutions to my patients' ailments eventually made me decide to complete my skills and study this ancient healing method, based on observation and feeling, on deep listening to the patient, their symptoms and a detailed understanding of how the human body works. The healing mechanisms and processes activated by acupuncture are extremely fascinating. I would like to offer its beneficial effects, reconciling the Western view of healing and traditional Chinese medicine. Nhan Phan Thi Thanh has studied at Shenzhou Open University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Amsterdam, 2018-2019, 2020-2022) and has been able to enjoy the teaching of Chinese professors and one of the most comprehensive Traditional Chinese Medicine study programmes in Europe. Since 2018, Nhan has been able to take internships with three acupuncturists in Brussels. In 2019, she also travelled to China and completed a week-long practical training in Shanghai, Longhua Hospital of TCM. She also completed Dr Nadia Volf's training (Diplôme Interuniversitaire d'Acupuncture Scientifique, Université de Paris-Saclay, 2019-2020). Forte d’un bagage mixte de formations et d’expériences, j’ai toujours eu à coeur le bien-être de mes patients. 

Spécialisée en thérapie manuelle et en pathologies sportives, j’ai essentiellement évolué dans le milieu de la prise en charge des problématiques neuro-musculo-squelletiques en clinique sportive. 

Outre la thérapie manuelle, j’inclus au besoin dans ma pratique des techniques comme le crochetage (fibrolyse diacutanée), le dry needling ou le Mulligan.

Diplômée en 2025 d’un Master de spécialisation en ostéopathie à l’Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), j’ai développé une pratique fondée sur une approche rigoureuse et renforcée par des connaissances scientifiques et médicales acquises grâce à un enseignement commun à la Faculté de Médecine de l'ULB tout au long de mon cursus.

Formée à l’ostéopathie générale et à l’ostéopathie pédiatrique je reçois des patients de tous âges, du nourrisson à l’adulte avec une approche globale, douce et adaptée à chacun. 

Mon rôle est de vous accompagner dans la prise en charge de vos douleurs musculo-squelettiques et troubles fonctionnels, le tout en prenant en compte de votre histoire et vos besoins.

J'ai eu l'occasion d'acquérir de l'expérience dans différents domaines tels que la revalidation orthopédique et neurologique, la kinésithérapie générale, la gériatrie ainsi que la lymphologie (drainage, bandages mutli-couches,...).

Le Docteur Virginia Fecarotti, médecin généraliste, vous accueille au centre pluridisciplinaire - DOTTIMED -, au coeur de Dottignies. Elle pourra vous recevoir les lundis, mardis, jeudis et vendredis de 8h à 17h50, et les mercredis de 13h30 à 17h50. Les consultations peuvent avoir lieu en français et en italien.
