My name is Francisco Toscano Jimenez , I am a Spanish national, raised in Germany and educated in the United Kingdom. Different countries and cultures have been a part of my life since early childhood, upbringing and throughout my studies and professional life. My professional development began in the mid 1990 when I started with the interest in the sciences of health and sport. What began as an hobby become a vocation of life. My initial training in Manuel Therapy and Sport physiotherapy were the first steps in my professional path. After a few years of practice in Germany I saw my interest growing towards a broader and deeper understanding of the human body. Understanding health as more than the absence of symptoms lead me to conclude that Osteopathy was providing with the answers to many of my questions. I come to realize and understand Osteopathy as a true biological science. My journey of Osteopathy started in England where I completed a honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine, BSc Hons. Ost. Med. in 2006. After years in private practice in England and Spain I have recently chosen to move to the country of origin of my wife. From 2008-218 I have provided postgraduate programs, lectures, conferences in Classical Osteopathy and a publication on Fascia. Osteopathy has provided me with wonderful teachings and learning possibilities in countries like Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Spain and beyond the Atlantic. Osteopathy has no borders or boundaries! Understanding and treating the human body as a whole rather than as a sum of parts has been my personal dedication and interest in clinical practice and experience over the last 25 years. Integration of the structural and functional balance of the body is the basis of the process in natural therapeutics. This fundamental principal of natural therapeutics provides Osteopathy the capacity to support the human body in the process from unhealth to health.

Osteopath Alice Ducarme graduated in 2013 from the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve with a degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. She will finish her Osteopathy studies at the IAO (The International Academy Of Osteopathy) in January 2021. She receives her patients in consultation at the Ducarme-Gustin practice in Woluwé-Saint-Lambert every Monday, Tuesday morning, Thursday and Friday morning. On Tuesdays and Fridays mornings the consultations take place at the Montgomery Medical Center in Etterbeek.

I currently work at the pluridisciplinary medical centre Asper Bascule in Uccle. I practice general physiotherapy and mainly in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. I also specialise in paediatric physiotherapy. I work with kids presenting musculoskeletal and neurological pathologies. I adapt my practice to your requirements, objectives and availability. I gained experience working in the hospital field, particularly in emergency medicine, both privately (Chirec Delta) and in public (CHU Saint-Pierre) where I learned to detect and manage a wide variety of acute pathologies. . I also worked in a cardiology department (Jolimont Hospital) where I followed patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular pathologies, with the implementation of updated treatments. I also hold a certificate in electrocardiogram interpretation (UCL). Finally, my experience at the ELISA center (CHU Saint Pierre) for screening for HIV and sexually transmitted diseases allowed me to put prevention and screening at the center of my practice. I therefore believe in the importance of prevention based on the adoption of a healthy lifestyle as well as personalized monitoring, taking into account all the patient's biopsychosocial factors. I combine the ability to listen, openness and kindness with scientific rigor and a methodical approach. I am committed to offering you attentive care, based on listening and qualified advice.

I have 5 years of experience as an osteopath in my own home (after a 5-year training at the IAO, completed in 2016) and 11 years as a physiotherapist in a medical home with a very diversified care and a sharp knowledge of orthopedic disorders, sharpened by a 5-year experience as an assistant and lecturer at the International Academy of Osteopathy (Gent). His approach is based on 3 pillars: Listening: I take the time to make a good history and clinical examination with each patient to make a diagnosis. Techniques : I provide several types of osteopathic techniques : mobilizations, myotensive techniques, manipulations, cranial or visceral techniques, inhibition, hooking... Time: The session lasts 60 minutes in order to ensure a qualitative care to each patient. I deeply love my job and am comfortable with all types of people.

Mon expérience en milieu hospitalier et en cabinet ambulatoire m’a permis de développer une vision globale et approfondie de la kinésithérapie, notamment dans le traitement des pathologies du système musculo-squelettique.
