As a sportswoman and musician since I was very young, I quickly understood the importance of a good physical condition. I have a master's degree in physical therapy from Parnasse-ISEI and I specialize in sports, geriatric and psychogeriatric physical therapy. Young and dynamic, I take care of patients for sports and musculoskeletal pathologies in general.

Graduated from UCLouvain, I started working as a freelancer in two firms. I am a dynamic, motivated and attentive person. I want to provide the best possible care to patients, with kindness and good humor. Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy. You can find her at the Solilau medical center in Rosières, as well as at her private practice in Lasne.

Je suis kinésithérapeute depuis octobre 2023 et j’exerce en cabinet avec une pratique axée sur la kinésithérapie générale.

En parallèle, je me spécialise en rééducation oro-maxillo-faciale et vestivulo-occulaire, un domaine qui me passionne et que je continue d’explorer pour enrichir ma prise en charge.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance. Thanks to my experience as a dancer combined with my clinical practice, I will make every effort to offer treatments adapted to each patient according to their needs and desires, based on the best scientific evidence available. Je pratique de la kinésithérapie générale et je prends en charge les différents troubles musculo-squelettiques : lombalgie, tendinopathie, entorse, fracture, douleurs chroniques, troubles de la marche ainsi que la rééducation pré/post-opératoire.

Diplômée en drainage lymphatique manuel (méthode Leduc), j’interviens aussi dans la prise en charge des œdèmes et jambes lourdes.
